high liver enzymes

Hello!

I started taking Lexapro one year ago and it has helped me enormously. I only take 5mg a night but the difference is amazing. My blood pressure went to normal! I no longer cry and have panic at the most random little things. I have been able to drive places that I never would drive to before lexapro. At my doctor check up recently it was discovered that I have high liver enzymes and a sonogram showed "moderate fatty liver"

My doctor told me to lose 10 pounds and hopefully this will resolve the issue or at least get it under control. I asked her if lexapro could be the reason for this and she said that she does not think Lexapro has any thing to do with it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Lexapro has made a big difference to me as well. I would panic and cry at any little thing. I couldn't get "out of my head" so to speak. No trouble with liver enzymes but I'd be concerned about that. I know my son drank alcohol a lot and after awhile his liver enzymes were sky high. I do know other things can cause that as well. Be well.
