Hello all, I previously told you all about a trial I’m on that has given me a lot more energy. Before the trial I was taking Lexapro for years, but it is contraindicated for the trial drug. So, the trial doctor wrote me a prescription for duloxetine and said to take it the next day instead of Lexapro, just go from one to the other. Well, I wasn’t comfortable with that and so I just stopped the Lexapro cold turkey. I also wanted to see if I still needed an anti-anxiety drug. I’m starting to think that I do. I’m blaming my lack of estrogen for making me feel just a bit too much head in the clouds, not properly grounded feeling. Does anyone else here take duloxetine with their treatment? Of course, the warnings always scare me to death and the thought of being tired all of the time again is super frustrating. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Anyone taking Duloxetine during treatment?
yes. I take only 20 mg. It also helps with neuropathy. I was also concerned regarding SE and what I had read, but I proceeded conservatively with a lesser dose than most.
yes. I take Cymbalta 60mg for a few years now. It’s helping with neuropathy and doesn’t interfere with my treatment (Ibrance+ letrozole).
Hope your trial will be successful!
Thank you!
I have been taking 20mg of duloxetine (with Ibrance & Anastrozole) for the past year. I has helped a lot with both anxiety and bone mets pain. I have had no side effects .
Thank you! I finally succumbed and started it 3 days ago. When you suffer from anxiety and read the warnings on the label, it’s enough to make you crazy!😬 I hope it works well for me too!
I take both duloxetine and gabapentin. They seem to help with managing life on a daily basis...
