QoL: "The berries remain, though the leaves are gone."
I travelled to Scotland to see my father for an early Christmas, and then to West Yorkshire to see my mum. My dad had requested a couple of paintings to hang on his wall as a reminder for when I am no longer here, this being part of his adjustment that I am now receiving care for pain management only

FND diagnosis - What now?
So CT, MRI and EEG all clear. I was told I have FND and given some leaflets. I now have a neurology appointment end of March. What's next? I don't know what I should do.My symptoms are linked to amnesia/memory and processing, and not physical (fortunately). I now have a complete feeling of disassociation

Why do I always ache
Does anybody else have constant body aches? I posted about rib pain recently but if the pains not in my ribs it’s my chest or I ache all around the top of my arms into my chest area. It’s daily now & the pain gets worse as the day goes on. Someone on here recently suggested it might be costochondritis

Respiratory Therapy Student
Hi All, I have been a member of the forum for 8ish years. I have bronchiectasis and had a LLL (left lower lobe) resection in 2019. I am 48 years old. The past 3 years I have been studying to become a Respiratory Therapist (RT). In the US, RTs work in hospitals managing critical care patients on ventilators

Edema of feet -Ropinirole and/or Gabapentin?
Do/can Ropinirole and/or Gabapentin cause edema of the feet? If yes, does edema disappear once one is off Ropinirole and/or Gabapentin? Thank you.

Diuretics
I have pretty severe edema in feet and occasionally legs.Is there a diuretic that does not trigger rls? I have tried Bumex and Metolazone. Had very bad rls soon after taking each one. I am on low dose Ropinirole -.9mg . It didn't even calm it. Appreciate any input.

DEXTROMETHOROHAN and RLS
I am possibly going to be taking Avuelity for MDD . I was doing some research on it because of the RLS. There was one article of a woman with RLS who was given Dextromethirphan for a cough and got significant reduction in her symptoms, to the point she stopped Gaba and kept going with the dextromethorphan

Is Tramadol effective right away?
After seeing a new neurologist late in April, I started on clonazepam at bedtime. After a week of not having any results other than being way groggier than ever during my walking sessions through the night, I was told to double the dose...still no lessening of my RLS symptoms. Yesterday I was switched

Joint/Muscle pain
I have terrible
pain
in upper left
leg
for over 2 months. After an x-ray and seeing a physio was told it was Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome which is a form of Bursitis. This , when I read up on it comes from hip but I still felt it was more from muscle.

Post op pain
Was told I have a markedly swollen
leg
. Struggling with
pain
in knee
leg
and feet. How did you manage
pain
and how long before any relief. I guess I expected to be pain free more quickly. Would love to hear from anyone who took months to heal that this can happen and I will get there in the end.

questions about gabapentin
I have severe rls. I have gone through augmentation and had impulse control issues. I went through DAWS when I weaned off pramipraxole. I have been off of DAs for 5 years. I tried to go drug free when I got off but I was going crazy. I found a dr that prescribed methadone. That helped but it really

coffeecup
I have tried everything ! After years on Pramipexol I augmented but was persuaded by a neurologist (against my better judgement) to try Ropinerol - guess what - augmentation. After weaning off it I was so looking forward to relief from Pregabalin - no relief just horrendous brain fog. Gabapentin - no

Xgeva Side Effects
Hi!! Has anyone had extreme pain in hips, groin and femurs caused by Xgeva? I first started with pain in my right side. So bad that I literally have to lift my leg with my hands to get into the car. That was about a year ago. My doctor doesn’t seem to think there’s a problem and doesn’t address it.

steroids after a fall…
hi, I had a fall a few days ago, nothing broken but as the days go on I’m extremely stiff and sore on my upper body. I’m especially bad at night when laying down and the pain is at it’s worse. I’m taking painkillers (co-codamol) that work for a while till they wear off….Would anyone know if increasing
