low in iron and B12
found out I’m low in iron and I’ve got pernicious anemia. From my understanding having regular B12 injections has lowered my iron and ferritin. Should I put B12 on hold and increase my iron and ferritin? But when I don’t have regular B12 I feel the side effects. I’m taking heme iron once a day.

weaning off T3
Hasanyone successfully weaned off T3? My new NHS UK endo wants me to do this as he’s worried excess T3 leads to osteoporosis so I’m wondering: a) has anyone successfully weaned off T3 and how was the journey and b) has anyone hear this about T3 and osteoporosis? Thanks!

Armour after years on T3
Hi everyone! I am self medicating because I have problem with converting levothyroxine to T3 and my doctor won't admit it. I did so first with T3 for a few years during which I used many brands like Tiromel, Uni Pharma, Thybon H. I was much better for a while but noticed that lately I don't feel that

Thyroxine half life & dose changes
I am aware of the waiting 6-8 weeks after a dose change etc before testing levels. I was wondering if anyone knows of a graph or paper that discusses the expected hormone concentration level from expected synthetic FT4 decline versus the increased thyroid hormone production after a dose decrease?

Help what happened?
My ferritin saturation has dropped since b12 injections! What do I do? I feel so ill! We now think the only reason I was low in b12 was a very very stressful year!

T4 conversion and B12 complex
Hello, hope you are all well. I am currently taking Levothyroxine 50mg daily and have been since May, feeling slightly better in some ways so some positives. I have been reading about the thyroid only supporting 20% of T4 to T3 and the complex B12 can support this in addition. Does anyone have any experience

PBC LIFE
I was diagnosed with PBC and 2017. My alkaline phosphate levels were 277. I was told I was gonna go in the liver transplant list or I was going to die. I was prescribed URSODIOL and Oclavia. My levels started to go down, but I was starting to have a reaction from the Oclavia, causing me to have eczema

reverse out twice?
Hi Friends, I was diagnosed with b12d in June 2023. I found a way to get weekly shots, and largely got better from the horrible neuro symptoms. I then got proper loading doses and such in September 2024 - thanks to a good hematologist. Then I discovered my ferritin dropped. I have tried , unsuccessfully

Splitting my T4 dose (amazing results)
Hi all I haven't been here for many years. Doing well generally. Thought I would share a simple thing I tried a good while ago now, but it has made a huge difference to my health. I simply split my T4 dose into 2 portions per 24h. I do 75mcg at bedtime and then 50mcg approx 12h's later. So

Thyroid, Adrenal Fatigue & Supplements
I was interested to read a recent post regarding supplements and the timing of taking thyroid meds if one is taking certain supplements. I had a test in April which produced the following results: Ferritin 214 ug/L; range 30 - 518 Vit b12 active >150 pmol/L; range Vit D 160 nmol/L; range 50-250

Pain Investigations - IBS?
I think I am maybe looking some advice, or perhaps some reassurance from anyone going through similar... I feel quite deflated lately. I have had intestinal/abdominal issues since I was about 17 when I was hospitalised. I am almost 30 now and still dealing with the pains. At 17 I had all sorts of testing

Self sourcing T3
Please could anyone private message me with a T3 source? And probably a long shot but I am hoping to find a lactose free T3 but at this point any T3 sources would be great. Thanks in advance.

T3 Poor response
hello all, it feels a little if I am going in circles. The final one being on t3 exclusively- 30mg @ 0430; 20mg @1030 and 20mg @ 1430 ….. if I take it any later I can’t sleep. This has been gradually increased over time and the last month or so I have been feeling awful with the regular terrible symptoms

Hi All, I recently saw my rheumatologist for my yearly review. I received a letter with my blood and urine test results. It says O/E urine dip Tr protein. Does this mean they found traces of protein? Thanks
