bleeding after transfer but positive pregnancy test

hi , looking for some advice …

I started bleeding around 10 days after transfer so my initial thought was that it didn’t work and I had started my period . Took pregnancy test 2 weeks after transfer date which was on that Saturday past which I was advised and it came back positive. When I phoned the clinic they said that I am potentially miscarrying and to test again in a weeks time . I am still currently bleeding but it’s more like spotting now rather than period like . Is this more than likely to end in miscarriage or is there still hope for it to be positive?

I started spotting brown blood a few days after transfer. I then had a full on red bleed a few weeks later, followed by brown spotting for several days. He stuck in and I'm now 37 weeks pregnant. I think the first spotting was implantation bleeding and they said my red bleed was a ruptured blood sac (common after a FET). So keep taking your meds.

Fingers crossed for you x

Congratulations 😊.

im hoping that it’s just been really heavy implantation bleeding followed by spotting if thats such a thing . This is my first transfer with NHS .

Often when an embryo implants it can cause a little sac in the lining of your womb to develop that fills up with blood (this doesn't affect the embryo as it's external to it). Sometimes your body can reabsorb the blood but sometimes it ruptures, which causes the red bleeding. Hoping that's just the case here x

Me too.

Apart from bleeding I have not had any pain in my lower stomach area at all . Just a slight cramp and what can only be described as like a burning sensation.

I know waiting for answers can feel unbearable, but there’s still hope. Some people do experience bleeding in early pregnancy and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Take care of yourself while you wait. Hoping for the best outcome for you. x

hi Got2bpositive hope you are doing ok! Firstly congrats on the positive! I Noticed this is a recent post and I’m in a similar situation although got a strong positive test on OTD but then hours later started full on red blood bleeding and 1 clot. I’ve been told it might be a subchoirotic Haematoma - not sure if that’s how it’s spelt! I’m waiting to do another test in a couple of days again and also waiting on bloods to check that the pregnancy is still progressing. Let me know where you are at if you feel up to it! x
