found out I’m low in iron and I’ve got pernicious anemia.
From my understanding having regular B12 injections has lowered my iron and ferritin.
Should I put B12 on hold and increase my iron and ferritin? But when I don’t have regular B12 I feel the side effects. I’m taking heme iron once a day.

I've learnt that the ferritin level will fall once we start taking SI EOD or frequently if you are already iron deficient. Ferritin is taken up to make good blood. Low ferritin means that your iron stores are depleted. This may well not show clearly on a blood test. I decided on a ferritin infusion followed by heme iron, which I slowly built up over several months, from 20mg to 40 to 60 depending on your weight. I'm monitoring my levels through my surgery blood tests but paying privately to see a haematologist.
Just been prompted by reading Nackapan. I currently take 20mg heme iron 3 times a day. It's strong stuff and at over 20mg at a time can affect my gut. That may not be so for you. Trial and error.
