First time post; long time follower. Please help with new blood test results.
First I want to thank everyone on this forum for all the answers they give to each other. It has really opened my eyes as to how to manage this, until I got my latest results. I am a 40 yr old male, diagnosed w/ Hashimoto's in June 2017. Was on Levo up to 125 as of six months ago. For the last 6 months

Crystalsky, this question is for you. Where did you purchase the apricot seed, Liposomal Vitamin C, and B17 capsules from?? I don't want to get them from anywhere and everywhere. Thanks

🌱 Celebrating world Vegan day 🌱
I decided to celebrate world vegan day today by making a mocha pie. 😁 I made a base of about 1 cup of mixed nuts and 8 dates, if needed you can add coconut oil or maple syrup. Or you could use a pastry case. I whisked the solid part of a tin of coconut cream (which I left in the fridge overnight) I

B12 & other vitamins
This is my first posting and I would appreciate your thoughts. After being unwell for 8 months and thinking it was my Thyroid as I have Thyroid nodules I went to see my G.P. He did a full blood count, TSH & T4 and at my request B12. My thyroid came back as normal but my B12 was just in range at 216

I'm not a qualified Nutritionist but spend quite a lot of time pouring over serious reports from respectable, independent sources. I'm aware most people in the UK are 'already' obtaining the advised Government Daily Allowance of Vitamins, Minerals etc purely through stuff they eat and drink. And 'yes

Neutrophil, Platelets, and Eosinophil to Lymphocyte Ratios Predict Gleason Score Upgrading.
New Italian study below [1]. Some might rememer my series of posts on inflammation. The first was "Inflammation. [1] Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio [NLR]" [2]. The gist of the series was simply this: while countless studies now see subclinical inflammation markers as having prognostic value, I see them

🌱 Healing celery soup 🌱
We had lots of celery in our veg box this week and after reading about the benefits of celery I put it to good use and made this healing soup 🥣 ok, it’s very green but green is good in my book 👍 I like it to be thin but if you liked a thicker heavier soup you could add potatoes. It has lots of celery

Hi I’ve recently been diagnosed with an underactive Thyroid. I’ve been feeling ill for a very long time but my symptoms were put down to perimenopause and depression by my GP. I’ve listed the results that resulted in the diagnosis and subsequently prescribed Levo at 25mg. I’ve been taking this for six

Swollen neck
I am recovering from flu so feeling rather yuck. I noticed on Saturday that I was getting pressure on my neck when I lie down... I had this a lot before my thyroid was controlled. This morning my neck is visibly swollen and the skin is itchy. Last week I bought some Liposomal vitamin C to help recover

Tiredness (again!)
Actually it is more than tiredness - it is hollow-legged, shaky insides, exhaustion and I want to know why! This is day three of my third lot of oral steroids in six weeks, and day three of my second lot of antibiotics (despite my chest being clear). I am on week 7, day 2 of being poorly - the latest

A footnote on Sjogren's Syndrome. While researching it yesterday, I came across another auto immune syndroms called Sicca's Syndrome.
