It's been just over 1 year since my diagnosis hepatitis c/cerroses.

Iv experienced the most horrific time of my life . I had to come of treatment 2 weeks early becouse of complications I was clear at 4 weeks and so fare clear today im so graitfull for that.

My body has taken its toll brocken down .

Iv had other complications and now have sacroiliitis and bone marrow oedema of the spine thats inflamation and water on the bone I beleve

iv Drs appt in January for another set of treatment. Iv been so poorly depressed fatigued anxiety stressed mood swings hurt all over

Some days I don't want to get out of bed . .

My treatment was

Abbie 3d and ribavirin iv read one other person on here or it may have been on hep c trust that experienced the same things i did .

I wonder why some do and some don't I'm happy for those who didn't go through the same .

Let's hope 2019 brings good heath to all X

I am so sorry to hear this. I also had complications - although not as bad as yours sound. I had flare ups of various infections (some of which i had never had before) including Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, my menopausal treatments stopped working (I was warned of this) and was plunged into a thrush/cystitis cycle as well and had to take anti-fungal treatments for 6 months after the Hep C (ironically bad for the liver) , i also had various other drugs to counter act side effects and was given some abx for the inefctions I got because of low immunity whilst on hep C drugs - which stripped out my gut and had to take treatments for that as well . - all of which came with other side effects. HOWEVER - 18 months on from completing the Hep C treatment I feel fine again and very good about being clear of Hep C and they say my liver is also re-building itself. So hopefully there is light at end of your tunnel!!!
