Vitamin C a waste of money?
Hi all So my Tinnitus was caused by the worst cold I'd ever had 6yrs ago and I've recently been told that if I take a Vitamin C supplement it will prevent me getting a bad cold? Distribution of medication and supplements throughout the day.
In my efforts to optimise the effect of C/L medication and oral supplements, I would like advice on this, to promote positive drug / supplements interactions if possible and to prevent any negative interactions. For example, I am familiar with the interaction carbidopa <> B6, but what is the best time

A Method To Increase Ferritin Level
Hi, just sharing this info if it's any help for anyone. I've always struggled to increase my ferritin levels over the years. It tends to stay down at 20-40 ug/L. Supplementing iron and eating iron rich foods will elevate it a bit more for me but what has worked the best is iron as a transdermal patch

Stop Prednisone completely?
I was diagnosed with PMR about one year ago and placed on 13mg of P. It hit me most in the shoulders and hips: e.g., I could not pull up my trousers because the action of doing so naturally moves your elbows towards the rear of the center line of one's body and that caused great pain. Could also

Help with compounding ingredients
Considering having NDT compounded, to not have lactose & as few ingredients as possible. We do not have a lactose,-free levothyroxine in Canada. And I know Thyroid S has lactose. The pharmacist has asked me about cellulose as the filler, and how I do on that. I have no clue & when researching it comes

Omg not good appointment
I had a follow up appointment today with Endrocolgy which they requested saw them last Oct. The dr was not that nice made me feel I wasted his time especially when I asked about my private cortisol test. He said these tests are dangerous and he is seeing to many people doing them. He said my Thyroid

Lethal strategy: use of i) Doxycycline (Hit-1: targeting mitochondria) and ii) Vitamin C (Hit-2: targeting glycolysis) to eradicate CSCs
In summary, we propose the combined use of i) Doxycycline (Hit-1: targeting mitochondria) and ii) Vitamin C (Hit-2: targeting glycolysis), which represents a new synthetic-lethal metabolic strategy for eradicating CSCs. This type of metabolic Achillesā heel will allow us and others to more effectively

Getting ready to begin T3... YAY... but...
I found a swell Endo (unwilling to wait 6-12 months for the NHS referral), and he's prescribing Tybon Henning 20mcg tablets to chop up. I currently take 75mcg Levo and have done so for 20+ years. I feel like a slug, gained about two stone in the past 3 years, have chronic pain, no libido, a bit depressed
