Pending diagnosis - some advice and thoughts would be great :)
Anti bios,
laxatives
and rest seemed to help the pain. 3 weeks ago while in hospital was when I first noticed blood in my stool, it was a medium amount I guess kind of maroon and mixed in. Then a week or so later it was very mucusy with less blood.

Constipation
My daughter is 7 years old and has from as far as I remember most of her life so far only ever been able to poo once a week sometimes even every 9 days, I’ve been to the doctors so many times about it had so many different
laxatives
to help but it always reverts back to every week.

Delicate??????
He appeared not to know anything about my disease, and suggested that I should be prepared to live with this worrying and unhealthy condition, taking large amounts of
laxatives
. I pointed out that this would condemn me to a very poor quality of life, and I couldn’t accept it.

Started taking Exjade for iron overload from transfusions
Probably the most expensive
laxatives
ever! If you are put on Exjade I recommend 2 things. Lots of fluids to put water into your gut and lots of fibre to retain it. Please see below article.

Four Years!
Decisions are to be made, but I’ve plumped for doing nothing for a couple of weeks, taking nothing except Paracetamol and
laxatives
, drinking wine and the gin I made and eating anything I fancy (albeit low fibre).

I remember being treated for that and now I wonder if the
laxatives
my mother gave me to keep my bowels regular made things worse later.

curious. my gp is refusing to prescribe me
laxatives
, even though i've barely had a bowel movement since my operation on 30 july, and even though it's a side effect of the chemotherapy, saying i can buy them over the counter. that'd be about £300 for the duration. now i have cancer, i qualify for free

New to this
Hi I’m new to this world of
laxatives
I really am finding the whole thing confusing, it is worse that I’m in France and my doc doesn’t speak much English, my French is ok but it’s hard when you are trying to talk health.

Bowel paralysis
I’m on a number of
laxatives
softeners etc. But not much is working or if it is it’s causing pain and liquid stools. So not sure I’m even absorbing my T3 at the moment or any nutrients. I’m concerned that this could cause long term damage or even my bowel never wakes up.

Laxatives
There seem to be two kinds of laxative. Lactulose which comes in liquid form in a bottle and the other is a white powder which comes in sachets. Does anyone know the difference?

How to live with gull bladder sludge
Currently on morphine, paracetamol and
laxatives
. I’m looking for other people’s experience living with bilary sludge? I’ve been told to change my diet and take pain killers which is ridiculous because I’m in pain/uncomfortable and young & Healthy.

Another Mystery!
Treated with loads of
laxatives
, an enema and suppositories. Seemed to lose a lot of bladder control and kept having temperature spikes every afternoon. If no spike on odd days blood pressure soared! Ended up being some sort of urinary tract infection but loads of tests could not pinpoint it!
