sympathetic ears…
Sometimes I think no one else gets it :( I was lucky to get surgery on Wednesday. This is my third surgery but I really was so so poorly afterwards. I’m feeling lonely, tired, emotional and in pain. I hate people worrying about me so I’ve kept it quiet ish, hardly anyone knows and now I feel useless

Fallopian Tube Removal
I’m having a
laparoscopy
at the end of July to have my Fallopian tubes removed or clipped in preparation for ivf treatment. Has anyone experienced this before and can share what to expect? I’ve had a
laparoscopy
before so not so concerned about that part, more so how I might feel afterwards.

Laparoscopy Incision Help!
Hi I had my lap 4 weeks ago and one of my incisions seemed a bit off so I got it checked at the hospital who cleaned it and said it was fine once they checked it over. Ever since they cleaned it though, the incision has been bleeding and the area near my wound is also going weird - I don’t know how

Waiting for results after Hysterectomy
Hello everyone, I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy ( with conservation of ovaries) at the beginning of this month. I am 40 years old. I had fully expected the surgery to find Endometriosis however there wasn't any. I am now waiting on the pathology test results on what was removed. I am wondering

Auntie/niece time 🏃♀️🏃♀️
My niece, in her mid 20s, announced that she'd like some running shorts for her birthday. This came as a total shock as she's very artistic and most years I buy her paints, brushes etc. It was a novelty to know more about what to buy her as a present than she did :) Her other exercise routines (lots

20 minutes!!!!!
After delaying for half of the morning, sitting with a cat in my lap, watering seeds in greenhouse, prepping veg, and generally not running I had a text from my daughter to say SHE had just run, what a lovely morning it was and if I wasn’t going to run did I want a nice long walk this afternoon. I

PVCs Way Worse
Hi! New to posting here, but see there are others like me who just are wondering what the heck is going on, so even though I know no one's journey is exactly like anyone else's, I'm going to throw mine out there just to see what bites. Started having palpitations, which I now know are PVCs, around the

Hello, I am 2 weeks post
laparoscopy
which found and removed endometriosis. I've healed externally and pain is manageable without many drugs but I am still suffering from exhaustion.

Anyone had an MRI found Endo in other places after lap??
Hi ladies, I just wondered if anyone has experienced the return of Endo after alblation. I had this on my left ovary in August 2023. My symptoms the last few months have got gradually unbearable especially around ovulation time and 2 weeks of pain before my period. don’t know if they would check your

Has anyone experience of weekly rather than 3 weekly chemo sessions?
A ct scan showed abnormalites in several places, and this was followed by a
laparoscopy
to see the extent. I was told that I would be having 3 rounds of chemo, then the op (which will include taking some bowel and having a stoma) followed by more chemo.

How long should I expect to bleed for post lap
Hi, I am just wondering what others experiences were in terms of bleeding post lap surgery? (vaginal bleeding, not from the excisions). Consultant had advised 7-10 days but just wonder what peoples lived experiences have been? I'm currently on day 11 of bleeding since surgery and would like to sense

IVF - the number slide
To get to IVF I had a
laparoscopy
to remove a cyst and clip a hydrosalphinx - but had my body been “healthy” without those issues it still at my age would have taken 26 cycles (over two years) to get that one egg classed as normal and with a higher (but not guaranteed) expectation to implant.

Finally Diagnosed!
Just wanted to post something a bit more positive than I usually do 😂 I had my rescheduled
laparoscopy
yesterday afternoon and they found endometriosis! I finally know what's been causing all my horrible symptoms. What a relief and a validating experience.

BATH HM RACE REPORT (warning: a lot of words 😂)
Well, I did it! I finally got to the start line and crossed the finish line and I can tick this one off my list at long last. Thank you for all your pom-poms, I thought of them often along the way 🥰 The first time I entered this race was 2015. My dad was in the final stages of vascular dementia and

Ivf after laparoscopy
Hi, I'm starting ivf stims and had a
laparoscopy
for stage 4 endo about 6 weeks ago. I'm in so much pain but can't tell if it's the injections to stimulate the ovaries or if its 'just' my period and sore from surgery still. Hoping things get easier but I'm on 7th day of period and been in agony.

synarel
Has anyone been prescribed Synarel (the sniff drug that stops your ovaries producing estrogen). I’m starting it in a few days, along with Evorel conti. The theory is, if the pain stops I can go straight for a full hysterectomy to avoid many potential laparoscopies in the years to come. Bit scary making

told I have no active endo
Really looking for some advice. In 2019 I had a lap and got diagnosed with endo and it was burnt away. Yesterday I had my second lap, they said they found no “active” endo and only scar tissue. So didn’t remove anything. I feel so lost and back and square one I have been in more pain in the past
