Ivf after laparoscopy

Hi, I'm starting ivf stims and had a laparoscopy for stage 4 endo about 6 weeks ago. I'm in so much pain but can't tell if it's the injections to stimulate the ovaries or if its 'just' my period and sore from surgery still. Hoping things get easier but I'm on 7th day of period and been in agony.

I had similar pains while on stim drugs my first iui and ivf which was back to back just few weeks after lap. I never had such pain in other ivfs I had years after. Now that you are saying this I am thinking maybe inside is wounded and stim drugs cause endo flare to increase.

I couldn’t take pain killers being on stim and it was worst at nights the only thing helped I put a heat pad. I could do that u until 2 days before egg retreival but dr said only on my back not abdomen. But I read some people put heat pad on abdomen too to encourage blood flow but mild.

I hope you get a good results and so all the pain worth it.

Hey, I was still in pain around 4 weeks after my laparoscopy but never had any pain with the stims, could just be recording from surgery still but speak to your clinic in case they decide to change things up to help. Good luck for your cycle and I hope your recovery goes well 😊 xx
