Has anyone tried the NHS/BHF on line heart age calculator?
I put my details into the on line calculator and was completely astonished by the result. It concluded that my heart age is 18 years older than my actual age!!! One of the questions is "Have you ever suffered from AF?"...so I confirmed in the yes box. I put all the same details in again, this time answering

Lipid hypothesis: Is cholesterol good or bad?
Did you know that somebody said - "The lipid hypothesis is the greatest scientific scam of this century?" Are you shocked? I was too. I watched this video and thought you would like to watch it as well. To make it easy, I've added subtitles. I've also summarized the video in the blog. Here are some

My first post - anywhere
I don't really feel comfortable posting things on-line, so I'll see how I get on! I'm not new to trying to control my weight, but I am new to Health Unlocked. At the age of 70, I have to admit that my problem is largely one of "defying my mother". She died 8 years ago, but she's always in my head
