Do I have endo?
Hi there everyone, I've suffered with painful periods for years, however they weren't as severe as recently when I was a teeenager and in my early 20s. Now I'm 28, they're much worse. My main symptoms are bowel related, I get severe pain when opening my bowels just before or during a period. It feels

Rivaroxaban and supplements
Does anyone else take any vitamin supplements with Rivaroxaban? At the moment I take cod liver oil, evening primrose oil, glucosamine and magnesium with b complex. I have looked on the internet but there are conflicting views!

Given IBS treatment despite lack of symptoms and agreement on Endo diagnosis...
I went to Spire for a consultation just before Christmas and met with a gynocologist who after going through many many questions suggested an ultrasound as he expected I had Endometriosis and that due to the pain getting worse around my period, it was very unlikely that it was IBS because I had no bowel

Nice pic of father and son on that path enjoying the day.. Well had my results, lots and lots of cysts on those lung pictures, small ones big ones..it needs the LAM specialist to read them and it will take ages.. I was trying to see if there was something where I have the pain but I can’t understand

Hi, I've recently purchased some natural supplements to start taking in the new year to balance out my hormones and to improve PCOS and fertility. I suffer with irregular periods, I'm not currently trying to conceive but I will want to be one day. I'm going to be taking a multivitamin, B12, turmeric

Supplements: Fish Oil Not So Good?
I've been taking fish oil capsules for years. Supposed to be good for heart and brain health? Just came across this article: http://www.renalandurologynews.com/prostate-cancer/fish-oil-may-raise-prostate-cancer-risk/article/302663/ I was diagnosed with Gleason 8 prostate cancer last year.

Aching joints
Hello All Hope you have all had as good Christmas and new year.. touch wood since I started my long term antibiotics I’ve been well! I’m on holiday at the moment in Wales and I’ve noticed particularly this last week that my joints are achy as we’ve done more walking than normal. I know this is something

Merry Christmas and a positive update
I just want to wish everybody a Happy Christmas and thank everyone who has helped me this year. I was feeling terrible back in September and October but mid November I seemed to turn a corner. Maybe I had had a Hashi flare, I really don't know. My limbs still feel weaker than they should be (though

The learning curve....
Diagnosed early November, a week before I retired from pipe fitting. I was 6'3" and 135kg,,, (retired rugby...) A nurse gave me the man test and it all started from there. AF and hypertension... my BMI wass similar to a World War 1 battleship... I'm 59. The nurse, a proper pro, went through it all and

Consultation with a Private Doctor
I am 61 and have ET. I was on 2x500mg Hydroxy plus 75mg Aspirin. I stopped taking it in September. In December I went to see a private doctor in Harley Street, not a haematologist. She did some blood tests, the results of which may be of interest to others, although they relate to me. It may save

My feel good kit💪
I just thought I’d share my feel good kit for anyone who maybe interested🌈 So a nice hot bath with a few drops of essential oils. I mostly use Ariix as it’s toxin free Calm oil is my favourite it’s good to also dab on your wrist or your feet or a few drops on your pillow to help you sleep not cheap

Achalasia, the horrible cough, swallow disease
Acalasia, the loud noisy coughing disease, over the last 20 years until I was finally diagnosed I called it cough swallow disease. As we never had a name for it. I have never lost any weight as I have been coughing and eating my food through my coughing for so many years I don't even think about it

Natural sourced supplements?
A very happy Christmas to everyone here! Given most shops sell supplements if 2 months supply, it does not take long to run out and have the chance to try other options. I have changed approach a lot this time with the desire to consolidate as far as possible and make life simple. I found a supplier

Feeling Hopeless and no idea where to turn
I was diagnosed 15 years ago with hypothyroidism after 2 years of being told I was depressed but knowing this wasn’t the case. GP says my levels are fine but I never feel better. Constant fatigue, brain fog, aching joints lack of focus and inability to loose weight despite good diet and exercise. 10

Protective qualities of Uridine
Gang. Just self referred to an idea in response to another post on something I'm doing. This goes back to a post by WackA Mole whereby he showed some study of protective qualities of uridine in relation to ingestion of Levadopa. It combats dyskinesia in theory but I can't remember the practical aspects
