Merry Christmas and a positive update

I just want to wish everybody a Happy Christmas and thank everyone who has helped me this year.

I was feeling terrible back in September and October but mid November I seemed to turn a corner. Maybe I had had a Hashi flare, I really don't know. My limbs still feel weaker than they should be (though I can do anything I need to do when I try to), I still have bad tinnitus, I still get this bizarre inner vibration (but less so) and my muscles don't feel like they recover well from exercise, like someone with M.E. My balance is still a bit off.

BUT I am sleeping better, my muscle twitches are fewer, I feel much better in myself, my low blood pressure has gone back to normal, my heart rate is normal for me, and my thyroid blood tests are, interestingly, back to exactly where they were before my hyperthyroidism started (I found some old blood tests in my medical records).

I have gone completely gluten free, mostly dairy free, caffeine free, alcohol free, have taken supplements for selenium, Vit D, Vit B, folate, ferritin, fish oil, D-ribose, probiotics and various others when I remember! I have also had acupuncture. I am not on any thyroid medication. The endocrinologists want to discharge me.

Things could all go to pot again tomorrow but I am so relieved to have had some weeks of feeling almost like a normal human being again! I wanted to post this in case anyone else is having as bad a time as I was having three months ago and wants to read about improvements.

Looking at a previous post I think you haven't yet been diagnosed as hypothyroid? Are you on antidepressants alone and not levothyroxine or T3? Tick off your clinical symptoms as tinnitus is but one of the many.

Are you taking levothyroxine?

Were you diagnosed as hyperthyroid? or hashimoto's.
