Kidney disease progressing fast
I am writing after almost a year. My kidney disease is worsening. From last 5 years, I was able to maintain GFR around 30-35. But in almost a month, it had come down to 25 . Heamoglobin and RBC both came down below the normal level for the first time. It was always normal before the latest lab. I

Frequent urination..
Hello, I have cirrhosis. I have been told by a lot of people on here to drink 3L of water a day.. that is fine on a day where I am working outside physically and using a lot of water.. however, if I am inside all day not doing much, I will pee crystal clear urine constantly if I keep drinking water throughout

Anyone following a specific diet after kidney transplant??
Hello. I am curious if anyone is following a specific diet after their transplant? I know we can eat everything (except grapefruit in my case due to tacro interaction), but after my creatinine increased, I have started a soft vegetarian diet (no meat but seafood and light dairy is okay). Vegetarian,

E/M Codes for Kidney Transplant Evaluation
Did my pre-transplant testing day in January and received invoice from practice. They billed traditional Evaluation/Management codes E/M codes and expected some type of pre-transplant screening CPT. Does anyone have deeper billing coding guidance on this?

Any PD Patients Reluctant to Visit Clinic?
Is anyone else having a problem trying to convince their dialysis clinic -- with State and County shelter-in-place orders -- that coming into the clinic, with hemodialysis patients present (some of which have been diagnosed with covid-19) is something you would like to put off for at least a month of

Not a question but I wanted to share best article I found on high anti-oxidant lifestyle article
Hello, Would like to share one of the best article i've seen on the results of supplementing with anti-oxidants. Not sure how many of you know, but a diet rich in anti-oxidants helps decrease proteinuria, creatinine, and uremic levels. I would also consider looking into the right minerals that help

Cryoablation experiences for Pudendal neuralgia?
I am considering this out of several treatment ideas, but would like to hear about some others experiences as info on this is extremely limited. I have a few questions: 1) What was the nature of your pain? And worst symptom? I.e. burning/allodynia/hypergelsia etc. 2) Did cryoablation help/hurt? 3)
