How does Apokyn help PD?
I see it's apomorphine. I've used apomorphine in my veterinary practice for nearly 40 years. It's my drug of choice for poisoning cases. I get it in 5mg tabs. For a dog who ate a large bag of Halloween chocolate kisses I'd press one tab under the upper eyelid. It gets into the blood stream as

White Blood Cells and traces of bood in urine!
Hi there, I'm looking for some help! For the past 5 years I've shown symptoms for Endo, now I'm awaiting a laparoscopy, however for the past 10 months I've regularly done urine samples but they keep coming back with high counts of white blood cells and traces of blood, the doctor gave me antibiotics

Popular hypertension drugs don't increase risk of COVID-19 severity, fatality.
A new Northwestern Medicine study in mice found a widely used class of drugs to treat patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease and diabetic kidney disease — many of whom are elderly — does not increase the risk of developing a severe and potentially fatal COVID-19 infection, as previously feared

DIAGNOSED WITH FSGS WAITING FOR A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT
My 36 year old son has FSGS, he was diagnosed 7 years ago. Received treatment of Rituxan and Cyclosporin, both treatments did not help. He is presently on PD but developed 2 hernias and needs surgery so he was put on hemodialysis. His journey has been difficult. Waiting on a Kidney and registered

Scans
A few weeks ago i had a echo done after experiencing ruq pain from excessive drinking. The echo was clear and showed no fat or at least it was not mentioned. A week later still having pain, combined with extreme anxiety.. I pushed for a CT scan which showed I had a fatty liver. What strikes me as odd

Preoperative testosterone level predicts unfavourable disease at radical prostatectomy.
New Italian study below [1]. "In this study, we evaluated whether serum testosterone levels may have a role in predicting unfavorable disease (UD) and biochemical recurrence (BCR) in patients with clinically localized (≤ cT2c) ISUP grade group 1 PCa at biopsy." "BCR-free survival was significantly decreased
