I have been diagnosed with SLE Lupus for a year now. Does anyone find their teeth really sensitive during ordinary dental treatment such as cleaning? I’m also having a problem with the injections to numb the mouth not working . Is this Lupus related or is it just me? Any advice on the problem would

🧬UNC93B1 New genetic findings open up perspectives for future therapeutic approaches in Lupus
Hi lupis! 👋🏼 New study demonstrates a direct causal link between an overactive UNC93B1/TLR7 axis and lupus pathogenesis and indicates that blocking overactive TLR7 might be therapeutically effective. Their findings are expected to accelerate further development of TLR7 inhibitors for patients with

Hello I messaged on here recently about my symptoms and was recommended to take a private blood test, which I've done. So I'm surprised that they've all come back normal! I screenshot them but not all together. Think I need to now think it is actually not my thyroid, but rheumatoid after all!

Hashimoto advice please
hello, I have had an underactive thyroid and been on Levothyroxine 75mg since 2015. Last November I had a private blood test done as I had been struggling with lots of ‘symptoms’ and wondered if my thyroid could be the cause and it showed I have Hashimoto’s disease which I understand is an autoimmune

My up and down PSA levels.
On this journey I have had an up and down PSA level. My first indication was of 107 . With various drugs and 25 sessions of radiation,PSA was down to .075. That was November 23.December 23...PSA 18 Consultant told me my prostate had metastasize in to my lung. PSA rose to 117...started chemo March 23.

Reiki
does anyone know if Reiki works on liver disease , especially for cirrhosis which I’ve been diagnosed with 😩? I have read Reiki does but was hoping to get it clarified. Does Crohn’s affect the liver too?? Thank you all.

Getting head around what to expect
I like to have facts. In times of stress I think Facts are our friend. Better to be prepared, mentally, physically, financially, with support systems, etc.. so looking for any insights as to what I should expect and prepare my husband, myself and my kids/family for in the weeks and months, years ahead

Decompensated liver
good morning, following on from my post a few weeks ago about my brother, a couple of weeks after I posted he was admitted into hospital again with fluid in the lungs, kept on critical care for a couple of weeks on a chest drain, It was decided by the doctors that the chest drain was serving no purpose

Dopamine
I just read that dopamine is made in the adrenals I had not heard this in the past so I am wondering what does this all mean? So maybe there is dopamine being made but the cells can't use it properly? "Dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine are the main catecholamines (a label based on having part

I wonder if anyone can advise me please. My wonderful 76 year old mum was given a blood transfusion after the birth of me 48 years ago. Over the years her blood test has shown slightly elevated bilirubin but no further action was taken, I think we hoped it would be Gilbert’s syndrome. I know she knows

I thought I was just a social drinker, and I have a few drinks after work or when I was playing soldiers. I've been recently diagnosis with fibrosis stage three and I'm coming to terms with how to live with the situation. And over the years it is caught up with me and my body is telling me I've been

Record more interviews with the guys in our prostate cancer community.
Based on the outstanding response to yesterday's video with Don (the retired Canadian Mountie), I will be happy to record more interviews with the guys in our prostate cancer community. Your experience could help others navigate their paths and provide invaluable insights into the everyday realities

The effect of a B complex on raised liver enzymes with discomfort/pain
As mad as it sounds, every time I re start a B complex the liver pain returns I’ve had mildly raised liver enzymes with early morning liver discomfort, every single day for years but recently both have worsened and the discomfort became actual pain. However, on rising, the pain dissipates immediately
