Digestive Enzymes
Hi all, Love all the care, information and support here at Health Unlocked. Brilliant! Does anyone take digestive enzymes (like Pepsin, Betaine hydrochloride) or apple cider vinegar to help sore tummies with any success? Or are we not supposed to? Ta.

IF Antibody test back - so what next
Following up on my previous posts (low B12, started on B12 loading shots - had second today so too early to tell results on symptoms) Finally got my IF antibody test back today Results: 2.9 U/mL (Normal: < 6 U/mL) I'm aware of the inherent reliability of the test (40-60%) so realise that it doesn't

Churg Strauss Struggles
I still have terrible sweats, flu like symptoms, excruciating joint pain (I now walk with a stick) so much so that I am left now with only
ketamine
or lidocaine infusion options (allergic to pure morphine) Fentanyl and paracetamol only take the edge off. Even Macmillan can't help!

Reflux, hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid) and breathlessness
Previously I mentioned struggling with my breathing, which started when I had my thyroid levels crash on the change from NDT to T4. I'm back on NDT and trying to improve all the levels that I can. I haven't had a blood test yet as I'm waiting for 6 weeks to pass to give my meds a chance to build up again

Betaine HCL with Pepsin and breastfeeding
Hi everyone, I've been having issues with digestion for years and after reading about it I think I might have low stomach acid. I have Hashimoto's and I have a lot of digestion/gut issues, so I think my gut isn't too well. I thought about getting a good Betaine HCL + Pepsin supplement, but I'm breastfeeding

Systemic enzymes on empty stomach
Hi there folks, had PA for decades and b12 injections etc, but recently developing carpal tunnel syndrome (which can be exacerbated by low b12). I'd like to add systemic enzymes to my supps as they can assist with CTS. Blood tests always show high levels of B12. Sometimes wonder if I still have pernicious

MTHFR treatment
Hi all, i know you are not all doctors, but to be honest here in the UK the doctors don't have a clue what im talking about, so hoping someone on here does and i has an opinion. all my symptoms started when i was given Septrin which wiped out all my folic acid and caused a long un-diagnosed deficiency

Low Stomach Acid and Apple Cider Vinegar
I have low stomach acid and I have been taking 2 capsules Betaine HCL & Pepsin with every meal as well as supping lemon water all day, but my supplements are getting really expensive and I would like to change over to Apple Cider Vinegar with 'mother' - I have got Aspall's Organic unfiltered at the moment

NIH protocol 15-NR-0037 : Effect of Ketamine on Fatigue Following Cancer Therapy
I know
Ketamine
is used to treat depression, and there is a large correlation between depression and chronic pain. I didn't think I was depressed. Whatever the mechanism, I am pleased with the result.

Not Raynaud's or Erythromelalgia
Anyways, he would like to try either 'sympathetic blocks' or a
ketamine
infusion. Has anyone had either of these procedures done for this type of pain? Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ketamine for depression?
I saw an ad recently for a clinic in New Jersey that does a series of
ketamine
infusions (very low dose). The testimonials on the site sound promising, but of course they would. Lol.

Partner on day 28 in ICU...Legionella and ARDS
We currently are on day 28...he is still heavily sedated on propofol and fentynal (and for a while,
Ketamine
), received a tracheostomy March 25th and developed an infection March 26th which sent his vitals plummeting.

Infusion for Raynaud's and Erythromelalgia?
She is looking into the possibility of an infusion of either lidocaine or
ketamine
. Has anyone else had success with either of these (if you have both conditions)? I often see posts for iloprost, but haven't seen these drugs so much. However, I am in the US, so that maybe is the difference.

22 Years of Treatment. No help.
Most recently I underwent multiple
Ketamine
infusions - again with no response. In the past, people have suggested things like exercise, cutting out caffeine, breathing exercises, trauma releasing exercises.
