I go in on Monday for the infusion but I have no idea what it is I’m having put in me. I know it’s to help with the pain but can’t get anymore info from the nurse or from google, so please can someone tell me if they’ve had this, and what exactly is the pain med they use? I also have terrible arthritis so I’m hoping it will help me. Thank you.

Hi I am not one for posting on here.but I do take interest in people's views. I have fibro.i am unable to take any medication for it.as I have a lot of allergies to medication. Could you please advise me who I need to speak to regarding. Lidocaine injections thank you.
I also can’t tolerate any meds and have sensitivity to lots of foods as well. you have to ask your GP for a referral to the pain clinic (there is a long waiting list) ask the consultant you see about the infusion. I’m going in hospital on Monday for mine, they’ve booked me in for half a day as it’s delivered by a drip in your arm. Do you live in the U.K.? I’m sure they will give you the chance to have it and hopefully make your pain more manageable. Please let me know how you get on x
