~Pain relief for endometriosis
I got diagnosed with endometriosis in December 2018. During my lap I had the mirenia coil fitted. This was great until exactly a year later when the pain returned, but only this time worse. After numerous trips to urgent care at hospital I was then admitted in December as the pain was that bad I couldn't

ICD fitting today
Morning All, Recovery update. Today I have my ICD fitted. I'm having 2 leads. I found out 10 days ago that this was the next stage of recovery for me. I would be lying if I said these last 10 days were not some of my hardest days so far. I thought i owed my fellow Hearties the benefit of an update.

Any experience of prolong bleeding after a coil and lap?
I had my lap 2 weeks ago and a hormone coil inserted. I wondered what are others experiences? As I am still bleeding and in pain. When I had cerazette I bled for 6 weeks until I stopped taking it and I am worried the coil will be the same. Thank you

Infection from coil fitting
Hi has anyone here had the copper coil fitted and actually got an infection from the procedure? I recently got the coil put in and been in agony that no painkillers were shifting it and it was getting worse. I’m now on antibiotics for the infection and I’m just curious if this has happened to anyone

The coil causing hair loss?
Over the past year I have started to notice significant hair loss at the front of my head. I have never noticed this before the coil and have no other reasons for the hair loss. Has anyone else experienced this? I would hate to have to remove the coil as its the only thing thats helped with endo pain

Should my partner become my donor?
Hi Ladies, I'm in a same sex marriage and we have been trying to conceive with a fertility clinic in the North East since 2018. I completed 6 x IUI (all BFN), which gave me access to the NHS funded rounds of IVF. We get three rounds in the North East. Prior to my first round of IVF (2019) the clinic

I think there’s something wrong
So for anyone that remembers seeing my posts throughout the last week, here’s an update. I had IUI treatment, 3rd try, on 26th August. I started bleeding on 8th September but it was a weird period, so last Saturday 19th September I took a pregnancy test, and it showed I was pregnant. Every test I have

and it cutting me. Any ideas? Googling hasn't turned up anything similar in the least.

23 years old and suffering daily
I’ve always had terrible periods so I ended up getting the coil beginning of last year, my periods stopped and that was the best feeling ever.. unfortunately that didn’t last long. November last year I started getting these excruciating pains which got progressively worse to the point of being rushed

6th IVF or call it quits?
Hi! I’ve never posted in a support group before, but I am in such a sad place and have no one to talk to. A little background about my IVF journey. My husband and I tried 1 year with no success so sought out a RE. After a few clomid cycles and a failed IUI, we went straight to IVF. Brief breakdown:

The coil
I had the coil fitted yesterday, I’m in a lot of pain still, I’m wondering what are other people’s experiences with the coil? How soon can you have a bath? How long have you bled for afterwards? Any side affects I need to be aware of? Thanks ladies :)

IUI cancelled - should i take norethisterone
i have had my IUI cycle cancelled as yesterday on baseline they discovered 2 cyst 21mm and 27mm. they have advised me to take norethisterone to prevent it growing and for them to hopefully clear by the next round. i am convinced that the clomid and other hormones i took produce the cyst. should i go

Headaches
When I saw the doctor after all these tests he said that the only thing he noticed was that I was slightly dehydrated and that there was slight ketosis and that I should get my
IUD
(coil) removed which I am going to do.
