Possible IBS, struggling to discover triggers!
I've had digestive problems all my life. At first it was thought to be a weak pyloric sphincter when I was a baby. As a teenager I was diagnosed with acid reflux. When I was 23, after my second child was born, I started suffering with bad pelvic cramping and lower back pain. I had a laparoscopy aged

I really need some advice, hope someone can help!
HI, I'm a 16 year old student, and I've recently been diagnosed with IBS. I'm on Mebeverine, which helps but with the pressures of school and my drained immune system I seem to pick up every bug and I'm off school a lot. I've just recovered from chicken pox, and now my IBS is really getting me down.

Is there any good medicine for to treat ibs in children
My son has ibs for the pass year. It is getting worst by the day. Sometime he is completely normal, other times he just can't get out of bed. We have tried mebeverine, capol, codine, fiber gel. Nothing works... someone suggested aleo vera juice, Has anyone tried it before? Any other medicine/food

Hi everyone,
I really need some help as like all other members I have IBS but I cannot get it under control, its either D or C and its almost impossible to get a routine or rythm. I've had the condition since childhood but in the last year it has become unbearable and uncontrolable as I now cannot leave the house

Birthday present!
Celebrated my 48th birthday 2 weeks ago, had lots of food and a wee glass of 'Baileys' and have been suffering ever since. I take Omeprazole and Mebeverine but they haven't been helping at all. I wake up in the morning feeling really down and tired and quite often with tummy ache, the rest of each day

I was diagnosed with IBS years ago. Week ago I had abdominal pain [walked for 9 days before going to A&E for help because doctor didnt know]
An xray showed faecal impaction. I was shocked because my bowel movements were normal-no constipation. Was prescribed lactulose and Ispaghula Husk. Slightly improved.... Has anyone else had this? How long does it take to clear? Should I try Epsom Salts? Also read about OxyPowder [supposed to be really

Just out of Curiosity, what age did you feel you started with Lupus signs and symptoms? Age of diagnosis?
How long have you lived with the illness? Does the condition, with management gHowet easier as you get older?, (women - post menopause) - is this in remission? I will go first! I think that my Sjorgren's Syndrome, (and possibly Lupus SLE - but not 100% sure on this auto immune disorder), commenced

This is one I have asked Coeliac UK and got a "don't know" - what countermeasures can you adopt after consuming gluten accidently?
So, the scenario when you have consumed gluten accidently and get ill - are you aware of anything that can minimise the symptoms? I asked Coeliac UK and they were wary of answering as they did not want coeliacs to carry on eating gluten and treating the symptoms. Whilst I understand this pov, for someone
