How long to stop iron supplements before iron blood test?
I’m getting my
iron

iron
before these blood tests? Thank you!

Iron Levels
I have been advised that my
iron
levels are high and he may need to refer me back to Christies for them to look at but he wants to do another blood test in 8 weeks first to see what is happening. He kept telling me not to worry at this stage (which I wasn't), but wondered what this could be?

Weaning off high dose Pramipexole
All
iron
markers are in the normal range. Anyone else taking such a high dose of pramipexole? How did you get off of it? Or not get off of it? I am a little unsure of my doctor. She is extremely patronizing but well recommended.

Wasting GP’s Time, so it seems
I questioned this and he then looked it up on his desktop and eventually agreed to prescribe B12.I told him that I was frightened for the future and really could not survive on so little sleep for the next 3 months while hoping the
iron
might help..

Losing hope
I just found out my ferritin level is 10 so I’m in the process of getting
iron
infusions. One down three to go. My doctor informed me that the treatment is probably not going to change anything since I’ve had symptoms of restless leg for over 20 years.

Does anyone use ‘Active Iron’ in UK?
I searched for ferrous bisglycinate on Amazon UK which came up with Active
Iron
25mg. I’ve now received it and found it contains ferrous sulfate 25mg! Now I don’t know if this is the right product or dose. Can anyone help?

NDT toleration
My adrenals/
iron
are ok but NDT (just 1/2 grain) makes me anxious, heart palpitations, sleep issues. But on this amout of NDT I am not hyper. What can be problem? It is worth to try syntetic FT4 only or FT3 only? Thank you for your advice.

Why Won't My Dr. Write a Work Note for CLL Fatigue so I Can Work from Home Because she States that my Bloodwork is "Normal"?
Had a few
iron
infusions and nothing else. I have since been asked to come back into the office 3 days a week 830-5 (I work from home 2 days). It has added about 2 hrs. extra to my day now with travel and such.

Is this hypothyroidism?
She didn't have b12, folate, vit D or
iron
tested this time around, but they are always as described consistently. She took the blood test first thing in the morning before food or any other medication.

No
iron
supplements. But taking methylfolate and methylb12 plus methyl b complex. And the question is - do these bloods suggest a need for t3. Or do I persevere with t4 only and try to increase again to 125? A bit of a round- a -bout text but I’d really appreciate any feedback.
