3 year after triple bypass .. got yearly check. Was very weak couldn't walk hardly. Wverythg heart fine they sayd. But on yearly check thy done bloods. Gt call go hospital as my iron was 69. Should been 115 ..anyway bags iron and bags of blood . Got endoscopy and the endoscope. . 3 weeks ago.All found is 2 ulcers stomach. Caused thy thk daily aspirin . After 3 year on it. Thy took me of aspirin . Now clipidogrel.. also had b on predisonal 3 years. From 15 mg. To 10. But week ago .they cut me down to 5 mg. Polymyaja is back pain legs awful ths happend 3 weeks. After bypass . Now last 8 days very wheezy walking bit breathless. Any ideas I'm also on bisopral landsoprial any ideas thk you

So sorry you are going thru this. It's frustrating when the doctors aren't able to address mysterious issues.

Hi truesta, have you mentioned your wheezing and breathlessness to your doctor? You might have a chest infection or, if it's not an infection, need the cause investigating further.

I also think you need to talk to your doctor about the return of your polymyalgia symptoms and that huge reduction in prednisolone/prednisone. I have polymyalgia and am on long term treatment with prednisolone. Once you reach 10mg, the NICE guidelines say reductions should be a lot slower - 1mg every 4-8 weeks - and the reductions should be adjusted if required, depending on whether the polymyalgia symptoms are still under control.
