newbie - help please
The Gp recommended I take
Iron
tablets and keeps suggesting sertraline for anxiety but I would prefer to see if I can sort this more organically and not have it brushed off as just ‘peri’. She says hypothyroidism doesn’t cause anxiety but I have read elsewhere that it can?

bioavailable broad spectrum multi vit?
I got him to ask for an
iron
panel and the results for that look ok. CRP is ok , too. Blood pressure is a bit high but he’s not on meds for it. So - b complex/b12/d / k2 m4/magnesium……will be expensive and he may say no….or is there such thing as a good multivit?

Additional tests to have run for
iron
are: -
Iron
Binding Capacity -
Iron
-
Iron
Saturation - Ferritin I tell all of this so that others may be aware to keep an eye on your ferritin levels, if they are trending lower over time then it is something

"Your thyroid's fine"...what do you think?
Put me on 3 months of
iron
tablets, (ferrous fumerate 210 mg tablets) 2 a day and told me to get another blood test in 3 months and a test for celiac disease as that may be the cause of my low
iron
stores. Haven't had results of these yet.

Possible underactive thyroid?
I have very low levels of vitamin d, high
iron
(219ng/mL) and was told to take double doses of vitamin d for a couple of months, then to slowly drop down to a normal dose. My TSH level is 4.93 and my free thyroxine is 14.2 (I have no idea what these levels mean).

Thyroid, Cortisol And Sodium Question
I supplement with
iron
, B12, D, folate, take my meds the right way and test my bloods the right way - fasted, before 9am, etc. So that's not an issue. I've been feeling dizzy, faint, nauseous and just not right and no wonder - my sodium is so low!

latest bloods after 6 weeks swapping to Erfa from Levo
Serum
iron
is over parameter at 29 (7-26 is range) don’t know what that means and my nhs gp hasn’t contacted me regarding this 🫣 despite the lab highlighting it. B12 - 469 (189-883) Serum folate is 8.4 (3.10-20) Vitamin d looks too high at 200 so I’ve quit that for now.

Autoimmune thyroiditis with lump in throat as first symptom and normal thyroid levels - medication necessary?
My thyroid results seem normal but I have low b12, ferritin,
iron
and folic acid. Should my doctor prescribe thyroid medication if the levels are ok or just deal with the deficiencies? I really want to resolve my throat issues as I am very uncomfortable.

Any Help to break free of this rut I'm in??
I have tried adrenal supplements,
iron
supplements, Vitamin B's, Vit D with K2. I cannot get myself out of this funk, I honestly feel like I am just disappearing, fading away from life and it scares me. When I mention it to my Psych Nurse who I love it's like she isn't getting it.

Been working on my
iron
for 2 years, very very slow progress, now on
iron
bisglycinate. I also supplement B12, D, zinc, Mg (also failed in this test - annoying). I've been taking my Basal body temp for the last month.
