bad flare. How to reduce again?
Bloods OK but but both ESR And CRP slightly elevated and
iron
all very low. Hearing constant fizzing in head but not like head exploding now. Just thick feeling. how long on 25 and praying it won’t take three years to get back down 😢🙏

Less symptoms but still RLS sleep issues
To my knowledge both can inhibit the uptake of
iron
and I also suspect that I was low on Vitamin D. When my RLS was diagnosed my
iron
levels were also low (about 50).

Tiny Levo increase but FT4 well over range
Wouldn’t be surprised if
iron
and B12 slightly low but the test failed so I’m waiting for a replacement kit. I take vit d, k2, magnesium, omega 3 …..and Thorne b complex which I stopped four days before test. Looks like I’ll have to reduce dose back to 85mcg and test again in a couple of months.

Iron
: 21.2 (6.6 - 26.0) Folate: “pending” Vitamin B12: >256

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an
iron
infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get a referral to see a haematologist as my bone marrow could be functioning insufficiently for some unknown reason.

My local haematologist was adamant these were menopause related but Guys reassured me they could be in part due to
iron
deficiency. I have now started Pegasys 45mcg every other week- on the suggestion to go low and slow..

Blood tests, T3 and talking to GP
Also allows me to test ferritin and
iron
which I’m working to improve. Any advice on talking to my GP that will enable me to continue with the trial before dropping levo? I’m assuming my TSH will be very low.

Iron infusions
The
iron
may have helped....but perhaps if I need another infusion the Dr. can change the dose.

Does this sound like Hashimoto's please?
I have had periods of diffuse hair loss, (eventually diagnosed as Telogen effluvium with crashing
iron
levels too). I am now starting to lose the outer edge of my eyebrows, my skin and scalp itches and as I say, my energy levels and mood can feel low some days.

Morning blood cortisol test, is it worth it?
I should mention I was severely
iron
deficient 3 months ago but ferritin is now coming up. This Medichecks test also includes cortisol.

Excited! New bloods, need advice... change T3? T4? Vitties & Iron adjustments?
🔸
Regards to
, is it safe to say that it's chicken livers for me... Ferritin rock bottom but
Iron
90% through range. Do the other
iron
panel numbers tell me anything useful?

I am taking Vit D & K2, B complex, magnesium and an
iron
supplement. I have begun to feel more tired again and have noticed that my eyebrows seem to be thinning! Would like any advice on what my next steps should be. I really appreciate your help and guidance.
