I recently had the first of three iron infusions. At the time, aside from the fact the nurse had a terrible time getting a vein mothing remarkable happened. Two days later my joints were just burning, I had a fever and headache and just felt terrible . I canceled the next two infusions. The RLS therapy changed ftom 600mg gabapentin (didnt really wor...slept great...I now take 300mg gabapentin and 50 mg tramadol. The iron may have helped....but perhaps if I need another infusion the Dr. can change the dose.

I take a low dose of gabapentin and still wake up twice in the night and have to walk around. Took a higher dose last night and still the same, something I will just have to put up with I’m afraid. I live in NW England and have never had an iron infusion even though my ferritin levels are a bit on the low side .
