I really don't know where to start
My
iron
level are so low that I need some infusions which I've had to do before but I'm in my 2nd month of waiting for my appointment. With my husband so sick we've had to close our business so money is tight. I haven't got enough energy to do much more then getting up and dressed.

New results. I'd be grateful for some input!
Vit D - 102 (50 - 250) Ferritin - 65.9 (30 - 150) Could be better but my
iron
is high in range so I can supplement. I am gluten free, not vegetarian, and recently started HRT; 7 weeks so far on 50mg Estrogen patches and 200mcg Progesterone 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Low iron test results and a way forward please
Is it possible that the parietal cell antibodies could be preventing my body absorbing
iron
from these capsules or might I simply need a lot more
iron
than I can get through oral
iron
supplementation? Is an
iron
infusion the answer?

Is thyroid causing my symptoms?
I know this can be affected by
iron
deficiency and other things. B12 462 (130-900) Folate >23.8 (>3) Ferritin 28 (15-300) taking ferrous gluconate and feroglobin long term, ferritin is always <10 when not supplementing, attributed to heavy periods since first checked 15 years ago.

Restless Legs - changing treatment.
But even if
iron
therapy can help, surely treatment with Pregabatin will still cause dizziness? I live in Denmark and not many doctors know much about RLS - not even neurologists.

Question on NHS Coverage.
If a person in the UK hires a physician say at the
Iron
Clinic in Cambridge can that physician order tests and those tests are covered by NHS?

Just a Ropinerol update
I had my bloods doneand my ferritin level was pretty low, so my GP has started me on
iron
. I'm also taking magnesium too. I've found having an electric blanket really helpful. It seems to be relaxing to my nerves. I'm starting to jerk a bit now throughout the day.

Uncooperative GP
Since then I have seen a haematologist who has been a great help with
iron
and a blood transfusion which has made me feel a lot better. But I'm still tired all the time, with pins and needles in my hands and feet, and terible cramps in my thighs and hands.

Is it B12 anemia? I’m confused.
Their report suggested B12 was borderline insufficient, and more
iron
studied would be advised. I approached my GP and they completely disagreed and said there was no need for any further investigation, so I didn’t pursue it. My question is, should I be concerned and push for more/difference tests?

SlowDragon please comment on my situation if you're around.
I'm concerned that it's not my thyroid but
iron
and different nutrients. I just received Paul Robinson's book Recovering with T3. In it he takes supplements with every meal. I don't get it. Aren't you supposed to not take calcium, etc., close to your thyroid dosing? He is on T3 only.

Serum Ferritin levels
As I have restless legs is this level ok or should I be taking
iron
tablets? It doesn’t mention my transferrin saturation numbers. Maybe if I call in at the doctors I could ask if they have these numbers. I must say I don’t really know what transferrin saturation is.

What now, totally lost and scared
Maybe this is a low
iron
problem? - I've been
iron
deficient all my life it seems looking at my history since childhood. Maybe it's a vestibular problem - still waiting to see ENT. 1. Can you overdose B12 in injections if you really don't need any more? Could I harm myself? 2.
