Cholesterol Trending High / Graves and on Levo
Good Afternoon, I was wondering if Cholesterol becoming high has a correlation with people with Graves and on replacement hormone? I am fairly active and since I been DX'd with Graves and had RAI it seems my cholesterol is trending high and my glucose is getting in the upper normal range.. Satins and

Graves Post RAI
Good Morning, I was wondering with the members here who had RAI to treat their Graves, How often do you get blood work after? like every 3 or 6 months? Also what bloods do you recommend? reason I am asking is because I was feeling great for awhile and now I am feeling like crap again! My head has a

Levothyroxine absorption variability??
Hi all, my GP had recently written to my Endo with evidence to suggest that i'm not converting T4 to T3 very well since RAI. I had provided my GP with all of my blood tests prior to RAI and prior to going back on block and replace to show a comparison of what my "normal levels" were before being solely

Suddenly Hyperthyroid again
I had RAI in 2000 when I was severely hyper. I was put on 150mcgs and did well on that dose with no issues for 20 years. Went gluten free a few years ago. All of a sudden became severely hyper again with a TSH of 0.002 So they lowered me to 137mcgs. Still hyper with 0.09. During that time I had panic

Bad reaction to gabapentin
I am just wanting to touch base with anyone else who has had this - I have only taken gabapentin 100mg 3 times a day for 3 days - and I have had to stop it as my body decided no way! I ended up with terrible pain in my arm - no swelling, but I have not been able to sleep for the last 2 nights and I

Being treated for Graves' Disease and wanting to conceive
- I am fearful of relapsing and having to go down the definitive treatment route anyway (radioactive
iodine
or surgery).. so wondering whether I may as well take the leap and do it already to be able to start a family sooner I can't seem to find any examples of women my age who are wanting to start

Should I supplement iodine?
I've read so much conflicting information on supplementing with
iodine
. How would I know if I should try supplementing to see if it decreases the size of the cyst? Should I test for
iodine
? Or is it to be strictly avoided with autoimmune?

First transfer done - now I have questions - hope you can help :)
I don't drink milk but do drink alternatives; I try to get Oatly as much as possible as that's the only one I've found that has
iodine
in, A lot of other's lack this, which is in dairy milk. Soya is another endometriosis flareup trigger. I eat eggs, am fine with cheese and yoghurt.

New here and just wanted a little advice as it isn't forthcoming from my consultant. Treatment following iodine treatment.
After years of trying unsuccessfully to sort my hyperthyroidism I had my
iodine
treatment at the end of June.

Surgery yesterday
I had my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy yesterday and feeling very sore and bloated today. They’ve prescribed me codeine and told me to take paracetamol and ibuprofen too when needed. What can I do to help relieve the pain from the bloating? All my gynaecologist has told me is that I have a lot of endometriosis

I spent the rest of the day vomiting for pain before giving up about 3am. They (paramedic)gave me one gas and air which mostley

TSH of 18.76 yet i'm told i'm on "appropriate medication"
Hi all, I know TSH isn't everything, however, I'm puzzled as to how the notes on my file after my NHS TFT last week say "on appropriate medication"! Just to recap, I had been taking 100mg levo daily for 6 weeks (having reduced from 125mg after being well over range for T4 and having symptoms). My private
