dry eyes and mouth?
hi again all! I am very depleted in ferritin and am awaiting an infusion. I also started b12 injections 3 months ago for PA but I don’t think they’ve been often enough (1x/month). Also just got diagnosed with subclinical hashimotos (thyroid levels are still normal). I’m grasping at straws trying to

Haemachromatosis and iron in RLS
Husband with chronic and often terrible restless leg symptoms- but also (like others in his family line) has the Haemachromatosis gene. Cant see how he could ever use an iron based therapy. Wonder if there are other people with experience of this ?

Prostate Cancer Diet and Re-purposed Meds
I was just reading a post about Jane Mcclelland's protocol regarding her book, "How to starve cancer." She also added a second portion on a book re-released, with a Ferroptosis (death by iron) protocol. I thought the criticism to be amazing. Cancer is a baffling mystery, top scientist and great minds

Haematologist’s unsupportive B12 response
In a recent pathology test, my gastroenterologist was concerned with my low haemoglobin count and a high reticulocyte count. She mentioned that although I’m low in ferritin (40) I’m not yet needing an iron infusion just yet. My white cell count was seemingly low also and she suggested that I should get

ferritin level and symptom question
I first posted a few months ago and based upon replies there were mixed feelings on whether my symptoms were truly RLS. Main complaints were a current/restless sensation in my legs and some twitching, more at night but also in the daytime if I was sitting for long. The symptom that was not fitting

I understood nothing! Except that it sounds good: mesoporous superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticle for tumor ferroptosis therapy
it works in vivo, it triggers ferroptosis....and it's unreadable, especially because they threw one or two acronyms in the paper... https://jnanobiotechnology.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12951-024-02457-w

Switching from Levothyroxine to Liothyronine
Hello, I hope everyone is well. I haven’t written on here for a while as I’ve been feeling quite well so hope you don’t mind me coming back to you now. Although I feel good on my current dose of thyroxine and definitely don’t feel I’m taking too much, my endocrinologist wants to lower my thyroxine

RLS: nutrition matters, n = 1
Hi, just want to give an update on an experiment I've alluded to in posts on a few others' threads. I recently was able to wean completely off my pramipexole Rx over the course of about a month. (I had been taking it for 6-7 years, increasing over time b/c of augmentation, from .12 mg nightly to about

At last I know.
Spoke to the doctor today and at last I know I have ET .I have fibromyalgia and the symptoms got my brain thinking it was MF. My white blood cells have been raised for years, kept being given iron tablets. Infections all the time. But my husband died in 2019 and I moved in with my daughter. Her Dr. Took
