Is there hope? I’m dreading asking the question of “how long”…
My father was diagnosed in September ‘23 with a PSA in the 900s. It had already metastasized throughout his body in several parts of his bones (ribs, spine, hips, femur and a spot at the base of his skull) but no organs had been affected other than his prostate. We were hopeful when it began to climb

LGSOC located in pleura
HiIs there anyone whose lgsoc is located in the pleura? I was diagnosed in June 2020. My ovaries were removed as part of a hysterectomy in 2008 hence the migration to the pleura. Debulking was to take place but surgeon said there was too much cancer. I have had chemo for secondaries. So it's incurable

Have you been on Gemcitabine (Gemzar)?
Hello, I am starting Gemcitabine tomorrow and am wondering if anyone has advice on this chemo? Is it well tolerated? A nurse told me today I should get a port, my Oncologist said I should be fine without one. I had a terrible time with Enhertu and extreme nausea, I’m hoping this drug won’t be as hard

immunotherapies and DCVax-L
Hi all - my husband was given confirmed biopsy results (after a debulking operation) last week of grade 4 GBM. His treatment plan is 6 weeks of radiotherapy with chemotherapy, then 4 weeks rest, then 6 months of chemo. I'm interested in people's experiences of immunotherapies, particularly DCVax-L -

Worrying and fed up
Hey lovely ladies, just need some cheering up and support. Had my third chemo last week and it has absolutely ruined me! I am so tired, dizzy, thrush all in my mouth really struggling to function. I have checked in with the nurses just to make sure I'm ok but so shocked at how ill I feel considering

ca125 up from last reading
I’m 49 and in 2019 was diagnosed with stage 1c2. It was found in pathology after having ovaries removed prophylactically due to finding out I was BRCA1 positive. I had 3 rounds of taxol and carboplatin. I might mention that my ca125 was 8 so never indicated cancer. During chemo my number rose to 9.

ca125 result variations
I have been taking ca125 test every 2 months since starting olaparib few months back. From an initial reading of 700 during diagnosis, it went down to 10 mid chemo and 4.4 after surgery and 6th chemo. In the last 3 tests, the readings were 4.5, 5.1 and 6.4 (reference 0 to 35). Are such minor upticks

Besremi - Dosing Change
I consulted my hematologist after having 3 months of low WBC, RBC, and HCT. I followed his suggestion to inject 100 mcg of Besremi every month instead of of bi-weekly, This dose is consistent with the manufacturer's recommendation and I quote from Pharma Essentia website: "BESREMi is not chemotherapy

What follows Lupron and Zytiga?
Hi- I am 10+ years on Lupron and Zytiga (aberaterone), which included 3 vacations during first 5 years. Left hip was radiated (a 2nd time) last June when PSA started to rise (to low numbers) after scan showed my largest tumor, located in my left acetabulum, was “active”. PSA returned to <.05 once again

I had a meeting with my oncologist yesterday about the findings from the PSMA Pet Scan. This is the reply I got. Any comments? "PSMA-PET shows a PSMA-positive lymph node medially for the iliac externa vessels on the left side. This is located in the mesentery. The urologist states that surgery is
