Period problems due to IUD removal?
Hi all, My periods have always been regular (30 day cycle) for the past 10 years. After deciding the copper coil side effects weren't worth it, I decided to get it removed after 7/8 months in a clinic in January. According to my period tracker, this would have been a day before ovulation. My period

Mirena coil urinating more frequently
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced changes to the way that they pee after having an IUS / IUD, and if that's 'normal'? Basically I have to pee more often, it takes ages, and I never feel like I'm fully done. I often have to go back a few minutes later. Also, during penetration (V

Oxygen pipe tangles
I've got a 10m extension tube for my concentrator. It arrived as a coil and seems keen on being a coil again. It forms twiddles, and then a huge ball. Really annoying. It doesn't respond to being straightened out. Any ideas?

Coil removal after 10+ years to try for a baby
I have had the coil (several) in for over 10 years, no periods that whole time. I'm wanting to start trying for a baby this year and need to bite the bullet with having my coil removed. I'm coming to the end of my contract in my current job and currently looking for a new job. We are going to need to

Oestrogen and progesterone course of medication following septum resection
Hi all. I've had recent surgery to remove a uterine septum. Consultant has put in a coil to stop the womb collapsing on on itself and have been put on an 8 week course of oestrogen and about to start a week of progesterone. I am having the coil removed next week but am unsure about the plan going forward

Stem Cell Transplant
My doctor says that after a 2nd remission, meaning after ibrutinib and venetoclax have failed that a stem cell transplant is the next option. I have been on IB for 14 months and it has been amazing but I am terrified about doing a stem cell transplant. Can someone share their experiences if you have

In extremely vulnerable group but don't understand why
On Monday I got a text, followed by a letter, informing me that I have been identified as someone at risk of severe illness and thereby extremely vulnerable if I were to catch coronavirus. Instructions are not to leave home, even for food and meds, and stay away from others indoors. There is a list of

Prostap
I'm currently having prostap injections. I've been on the pill prior, over a decade and a half and don't really want a coil fitted, as it's too painful. I am struggling with the quite a few side effects, such as mood swings, hot flushes, loss of appetite etc. Also I'm still getting pains in my pelvis

Still in agony after surgery
After 2 x years, 2 x surgeries and 2 x different diagnoses given (initially Pelvic Inflammatory Disease from the coil and now endometriosis) I am continuing to be in the same agony I was in before. The gynaecologist is suggesting to re-try the coil but I am so worried my body will again reject it, but

IUI success stories for late 30s / over 40s?
Hello just wondering if anyone can share their IUI success story? I am particularly interested in hearing from those closer to my age (41). Is it a waste of money? Should I stick with ivf? My amh is around 15 and follicle count 16 with no other fertility issues. Any advice welcome. Thank you

Natural FET vs FET with prostrap?
Hi looking g for some advice- so far we have been through 6 rounds of IUI, one fresh IVF (with 5 embryo frozen for later) that all ended in BFN and a FET cycle with 2 embryos that ended in a chemical pregnancy. The FET was using prostrap to bring on ‘menopause’ and then all the meds to restart the monthly

Which contraceptive is best for heavy periods
Unfortunately I have heavy periods, and I'm struggling to find a contraceptive that will help with that as well as prevent pregnancy obviously. I've had the injection, I've had the pill as well as the implant which caused me a lot of problems with my periods being irregular and even heavier. I've heard
