What happened during my 1st IUI cycle?

Hi everyone this is my first time posting here, i'm hoping someone may give me a little insight on what may have happened, as i'm loosing my mind trying to figure it out. This was my first IUI cycle, i have pcos and me and my husband have been trying for 3+ years now. I started the cycle of with clomid days 5-9 ,dectancyl and bromocriptine. First ultrasound After clomid no major response lots of follicles but all around 5mm, DR started me doing 150 menopur for 4 days. Second ultrasound follicles around 10mm, did m'y blood test LH 5.9 E2 1210 progestrogen 0.50, he said to decrease the menopur down to 75 and do another blood test on wednesday. Wednesday Comes i do thé blood test LH 33 E2 2500 and progestrogen 2.5! My doctor was very confused, he said in the space of two days everything had doubled and some he said i have ovulated or im just about to. Had an appointement with him the next day did an ultrasound he confirmed i ovulated and that i had lots of liquid in the douglas pouch a clear indication of ovulation, the thing is we do not know how Many follicles i ovulated and at what size they where on the day i ovulated. Does anyone have any Idea what may have happened, i mean a follicle cant mature that quickly in the Space of a few days and then decide to rupture Can it? He said the E2 levels dont correspond to the size of thé follicles, i only had a few at 10mm on the monday all thé rest must have been below 10mm and not worth sizing . I feel so frustrated and disapointed, as now i dont know if i even ovulated and mature follicles or even if there is a small chance with this cycle having a good outcome.
