Least I think so. If I felt as good as I have in the two months at any time prior I would have been ecstatic. Now that has become the standard I understand I am feeling and doing better and still have a long way to go. I am starting to have the head space to start the grieving process of my loss

Update following meeting with MO
For those following my journey, I had a face-to-face meeting with my MO today and learnt a few things I didn't know. Firstly, the genetic test of the liver tumour the NHS do only tests for BRCA - no other genes. The reason appears to be that the only treatment they would offer is a Parp inhibitor so

Fluid at back of eye
Hello everyone, I have advanced glaucoma in both eyes only diagnosed six months ago after a very late eye test at the opticians, and use monopost once a day. My left eye is the weakest by far and I have lost some central vision. I have fluid at the back of this eye and was told it looked like diabetic

A Bladder Cancer Update.
I got a telephone call early this morning, I was still in bed. Was a woman offering me a place in a Private Hospital for A 'FLEXY CYSTOSCOPY' Good news but the hospital was miles away in Preston, in fact the other side. So I asked her could I not get in at my local hospital - She then started talking

Hi. I have been prone to uti's for 50 years and recently had a very bad uti which took 5 different antibiotics to treat. I can't get to see a GP (Uk) only been able to get an appointment with the surgery paramedic. I've just finished a week of Nitrofurantoin which settled the symptoms, but now 2 days

Day 4 of stimulation - ovulation signs - just checking it's normal!
Hi all, A quick question for a bit of reassurance in my first cycle! I'm on day 4 of stimulation drugs (Rekovelle) and already having all the signs I usually get just before ovulation (EWCM, twinges, bloating and headaches). I'm thinking this is just the extra hormones surging round me but a bit worried

Is blood pressure medication making your tinnitus worse?
Hi all, I have had tinnitus for 30 years after playing in a loud band. I've recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure and been prescribed Doxazosin which has sent the volume of my tinnitus through the roof. I was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences?

bladder pain
hello, I’m currently under gynaecology awaiting a Laparoscopy suspected endo. But the past 6 months a few days before my period I have this horrendous sharp shooting pain in my bladder into my vagina and I called an ambulance the first time due to the severity. Was wondering if anyone else gets this?

How Long For A Referral?
I had a hearing test some years ago and was told there was between 10% and 30% loss in my left ear depending on frequency. Two years ago I had a bad bout of the Delta variant. I was bedridden for two weeks. At the same time my voice changed and my hearing deteriorated. My voice returned to normal (I

nausea and sugar dips
Hi, I’m 2 years post Ivor Lewis this month and I still tend to have sugar dips in the afternoon-not full dumping syndrome, but I guess a milder version. Often I feel very nauseous with it, as I do after eating. I’m struggling just to maintain my weight, which is pretty low, despite regular eating and
