hi I,haven’t posted anything in a while, but I read all the posts everyday. My journey with cancer recurrence started in 2020. I've been going thru a lot of treatments, I began with ibrance and faslodex, then Afinitor and aromasin, that stopped because I got pneumonitis, the dr then switched me to kisquali and letrozole. After more progression I was on Zeloda. I just had another pet scan and now there are 3 nodules in my left lung , to small to biopsy, so at present I’m off all meds till they decide what to do. The doctor says it’s definitely metastasis to the lung. I’m wondering if anyone had or have this problem and what the dr started them on. I know this was kind of long, sorry.

hi ,try not to worry too much , I have a lot of large MBC nodules in both lungs, been on Ibrance and Letrozole for nearly 4 years my scans have been stable, it is worrying at first , especially when they say it’s in lungs , I am doing really well , I do get tired and have off days , but so does everyone at my age 64,, I never imagined I would be here 4 years later after my diagnosis , when I was first diagnosed , I went on google , was so depressed after reading everything about lung MBC , I wished I had never looked at google , it was all outdated information , I do hope you are ok , if you need to talk or ask about anything , I am always here for you , take care ❤️

Hi Liessie as someone who also has mets in right lung and on ibrance for 2.5 years i am so happy to hear you are doing, generally well. Wishi g you years more on your furst line, take care, C

I feel what you’re going through. They took me off Ibrance almost 3 years ago because my white count was so low. The last 3 years I just took Femara, but in June I found out the cancer is growing again. Not in any organs but in my bones. They also found I had 2 mutations PIC 3 and ESR 1, I’m now on Osurdu 🤷‍♀️ I have a lot of pain but don’t do well on pain pills.

I guess I am trying to say this is a journey that I have been on for 37 years and have learned to just look forward and know that we are fortunate to have the medicine we do today.
