Doctor makes it seem like I want to have surgery and not like I actually need it
After struggling with severe constant daily pain for a year and a half, a gynaecologist has decided to put me on a waiting list for surgery. I didn't go see him requesting to be put on a list, but he thought it'd be a good idea because hormonal treatment hasn't worked, and painkillers don't help. However

Rib pain
I have suffered with rib pain & pain top of my stomach since menopause 5 years ago. I have been to my gp but still no wiser as to what is causing the discomfort. I have tried heat pads & pain killers but neither helps. It’s affecting my mood lately & feel really fed up. Does anyone else have the same

Hi, Does anyone else suffer with swelling and excruciating pain in their toe(s) during a elongated flare up? I currently have severe swelling, redness and pain in my second toe - to the point where socks are hurting it - and lets be honest, no socks is not a possible answer in this weather... Walking

Itching with RLS
I am now on 1500mg of Gabapentin but not seeing much relief. At my next MD appointment I will be asking for an iron infusion as my iron levels are just barely at 100. The biggest problem I still have is the itching that I get all over my body with it most active towards evening. Analgesic creams have

Sudden severe back pain
I am seeing a neuro physio. I have explained that I am experiencing an increase in body pain over last eighteen months. She has given me exercises. On Thursday, I experienced sudden severe back pain, so severe that I couldn't walk. I was crying out when I moved. I have no recollection of injuring myself

HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY
Hello, Am booked for a hip replacement operation on 1st February. I had 2 knee replacement operations in 2017 and 2018. Although a hip replacement is supposed to be somewhat less painful and easier to recover from, I am dreading it for the simple reasons I have severe rheumatoid arthritis - so stopping

Back, Shoulder, Knee & Hand Joint Pain.
Hi, I had an X-Ray on both of my hands last April which confirmed I had Osteoarthritis in all of the joints in both of my hands. I have had shoulder pain in both of my shoulders for many years as my job is working on a computer. I started to have lower back pain in 2020 and always had pain in one knee

shoulder pain PMR or costocondritis?
I recently ranted about having to jump the queue to get a suprascapular nerve block (avoiding a 12 month waiting list ) rather than reverse shoulder surgery which is a massive procedure in comparison . I’m scheduled to go on Monday costing £5k so far which is annoying in itself but Crohn’s and reflux

I went to see an osteopath on Tuesday, who said it can normally last up to 6 weeks, but at £55 a week could

Generic Lyrica is used to treat fibromyalgia and Epilepsy
Generic Lyrica 75 (https://www.buygenericpills.com/generic-lyrica-75mg)mg is the brand name of Pfizer for the drug Pregabalin. The FDA initially licensed Lyrica as an anticonvulsant or anti-epileptic medicine. It works by slowing down the brain impulses that trigger seizures. Pregabalin also alters brain

BMB done
Had a bmb this afternoon, a lot more painful than last time. They had a lot of trouble getting a sample, and had to have a two or three goes! Home now and quite a bit of pain in the area. Taken some pain killers which I hope will kick in soon. Feels like a horse has been kicking me. Fingers crossed
