I lost my trust to doctors, what should I do now, please help... (25/female)
I believe this is because my only problem is not the
insulin
resistance
. The latest endoc said my
insulin
resistance
is due to the PCOS-but as I said, what he claims is unbelievable. Please help me! I am very desperate and tired of searching this, reading articles and visiting doctors.

My Mental Health Symptoms gone - Changed my way of eating
Please take a few minutes to read my Profile on healthunlocked, as it will explain what thyroid illness did to my mental health. I have had a horrendous physical illness for 36 years. It was diagnosed as Hypothyroidism, but in fact it turned out to be a long-winded named illness – Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Living with diabetes.
I have had diabetes since about 190. Due to a diagnosis of Lpus I was placed on high doses of steroids for a long period of time. The steroids eventually destroyed both of my shoulder and hip joints Plus due to steriods I became a diabetic. Due to uncontrolled blood sugars I have diabetic retinopathy

Hyperinsulinemia leads to
insulin
resistance
& increased production of

Another controversial question...
Who on here with RA is a bit overweight and still eats the occasional naughty treat and often misses exercise to watch a good film? Some of my holier than though friends write to me fairly often saying I should eat this and do that and take myself off the RA drugs as they are killing me. That I can reverse

Do I have PCOS according to my LH and FSH? Doctors have confused me / 25 female
This time he said yes I had reactive hypoglycemia due to my
insulin
resistance
; but it was because I had PCOS! He said my LH was higher than my FSH; which is a classical PCOS portrait no matter the fact that I have never had cyst according to my ultrasound results.

Hi My name is Simon. I am an ex-anxiety sufferer. I still get anxious of course, only I now control it, it doesn't control me; it was always that way I just didn't see it. I remember getting my first panic attacks when I was around 10 or 11 years of age. I think it was around this time that I first

Warfarin preferred to NOACs ?
My GP asked if I would like to switch from Warfarin to a NOAC. I said no. I have taken warfarin for 8 years. I self test with the Coagucheck system and do not attend the surgery for monitoring. Since I started testing twice a week, more than 90% of my INR readings are in range. I find it very simple

I have been reading a lot about Depakine Chrono, and although it seems to be a very effective anti-epileptic drug, it also has some pretty nasty side effects, such as substantial weight gain which is said to be due to
insulin
resistance
caused by the drug.

Mother has PBC and has recently become diabetic.
Hello everyone, my name is Anthony and I'm new here. My mother has PBC and just this past summer discovered she has diabetes. Her doctor doesn't believe her diabetes was caused from PBC, however I'm still skeptical, because diabetes does not run in her family. Has anyone in the community become diabetic

Self medication and heart problems or the great NDP fail.
Hi everybody, I want to warn against self medication and too much T3. Around 4 years ago I decided to replace my NHS thyroxin with NDP Armour or Nature Throid. I was given a dose of 1 grain and 50 UG of NHS thyroxin and 100 MG of pregenenolone. I felt great, I was puting in sockets in the walls and plastering
