I am Monty Pande age 53 weight 54 KG for a height of 5' 4". I m diabetic since more than 21 yrs. I was on insulin for many years. One doctor suggested Janumet, Glimisave2.3 and Invokana 100. I started losing weight and got flatulence which caused me to feel full as soon as food was served to my plate. I stopped Janumet. But my weight kept falling ( It came to 54 from 67-70kg) my sugar levels got very ok so I stopped Invokana and switched to Geminor m2 (thrice a day) from Glimisave 2.3. Now my sugar levels have gone slightly up to 140 before breakfast but recently I have started gaining weight and energy too.
Hv been advised to have Pioz 7.5 instead of Invokana. Heard it can cause bladder cancer. Hence I am unable to dare to hv Pioz
Suggest me how do I hv a decent weight of 62 kg and maintain normal blood sugar?

Sitagliptin/metformin (trade name Janumet) is an anti-diabetic drug, being a combination drug of sitagliptin and metformin.
Sitagliptin is used along with diet and exercise and sometimes with other medications to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes (condition in which blood sugar is too high because the body does not produce or use insulin normally). Sitagliptin is in a class of medications called dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high.
Metformin is used alone or with other medications, including insulin, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Metformin is in a class of drugs called biguanides. Metformin helps to control the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It decreases the amount of glucose you absorb from your food and the amount of glucose made by your liver. Metformin also increases your body's response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood.
GLIMISAVE MV 2.3MG TABLET(ERIS LIFE SCIENCES) with a composition (formula) of Glimepiride 2 MG+Metformin 500 MG.
Glimepiride is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and, therefore, cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood). Glimepiride lowers blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin (a natural substance that is needed to break down sugar in the body) and helping the body use insulin efficiently. This medication will only help lower blood sugar in people whose bodies produce insulin naturally.
Canagliflozin (generic name) Invokana (brand name) is used along with diet and exercise, and sometimes with other medications, to lower blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes (condition in which blood sugar is too high because the body does not produce or use insulin normally). Canagliflozin is in a class of medications called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. It lowers blood sugar by causing the kidneys to get rid of more glucose in the urine. On May 16, 2017, the FDA concluded that canagliflozin causes an increased risk of leg and foot amputations.
Geminor M2 Forte Tablet is composed of the following active ingredients (salts): Glimepiride(2 MG), Metformin(1000 MG)
PIOZ 7.5 MG TABLET(USV) with a composition(formula) of Pioglitazone 7.5 MG. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Still Sees Bladder Cancer Risk With Pioglitazone.
