Patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) report a strong craving for sweets
On the other hand, high-sugar intake could also lead to
insulin
resistance
and diabetes, which is discussed as a causative factor for progressive neurodegeneration in PD.

Hi guys, What is the name of the test you can get that tests your
insulin
resistance
? It's something I'm wondering if I have and if I can just do a finger prick postal test thing to determine... Anyone else done it/has it? Thanks!

Insulin resistant & query about blood results
I had to nag doctor to increase my dose from 125 to 150mg and now fear although I am starting to feel better in myself that they will reduce dose down again when I see them my blood sugars are also out of range - a clinical trial I took part in suggested I have
insulin
resistance
(or some such) TSH

T2D / insulin resistance tips please 😊
I've managed to avoid going on meds so far by cutting down carbs to under 130g per day.... and really want to stay that way, so advice/tips please on anything you have found to help reverse
insulin
resistance
... Due to other health conditions I can't do keto, or up my protein anymore.

Berberine and iron?
Niacin will cause
insulin
resistance
for about 6 months, and I was going to take berberine to counteract that as it has been shown to decrease insulin and HbA1c. My lab 2 weeks ago showed my HbA1c to has increased to a pre-diabetic level, 5.9.

insulin

symptoms? How did you find it? Did it help? My dream would be to start it and fall pregnant naturally, but I know that’s wishful thinking on this TTC journey lol! Thanks for listening. Baby dust to you all x

General health (also not bad for PC): a fasting-mimicking diet reduce insulin resistance, liver fat, immune system aging, and biological age
combination with chemo, the principle is, in a nutshell, when you are fasting healthy cells go in "hibernation" while cancer cells cannot do that, so the chemo is hitting more cancer cells and less healthy ones https://stemcell.keck.usc.edu/usc-study-shows-how-cycles-of-a-fasting-mimicking-diet-reduce-

Is that discoloration around the neck insulin resistance?
I’m 27 I’ve had it for as long as I can remember, but I don’t remember if I still did when I was thin. I’m currently obese and chances are higher. I also have hyperpigmentation under the armpits and the inner thighs. Glucose show okay but I know pre diabetes doesn’t usually show on tests. I’m concerned

{ - e.g.
insulin

. When
insulin

occurs in the pre-diabetic man, pancreatic beta cells work overtime to overcome the
resistance

insulin
