Please help with my test results, esp the Reverse T3 ratio
Hello, This is the first time I've had the full thyroid tests offered by Blue Horizons Medicals. I know I have Hashimoto's and have been gluten free since 2015, and also last December cut out cow dairy, yeast, egg and brazil nuts following test results from Medichecks which show I'm producing antibodies

How common is insulin resistance in people with endometriosis?
Do you also suffer from

? Have attempts to regulate blood sugar helped you? What methods have you tried? e.g., Rx blood sugar control meds, exercise regimen, diet changes, apple cider vinegar, amla (Indian gooseberry), etc.

Hey y’all. I am new to the forum but not to diabetes. I am 54 years old and have had diabetes since I was eight years old. So of course I am insulin dependent and always will be. I have had issues with my blood pressure on and off. It’s pretty good. But I have CKD stage III and they want it tighter

28 Gauge needle for Trimix?
Hi, What gauge of needle is the best for Trimix? I use 31 gauge for my insulin , but I hear that 28 gauge is the best for Trimix - is that right? I know that using trimix is different from injecting insulin - but isn''t 28 gauge a thicker needle and more painful to use? - First time Trimix user

Afinitor and blood sugar
Today is day 9 on Afinitor and Aromasin. I had previously been on Ibrance and it stopped working. Other than a few mouth sores, nausea, and some serious fatigue, the Afinitor seemed to be working. I was especially worried about my blood sugar since high blood sugar is listed as a possible side effect

Are You Struggling?
There have been a few posts lately where people are getting a little discouraged and wondering whether LCHF is for them. Well, first of all, the biochemistry is rock solid, and when applied properly the results are there for EVERYONE. Basically, ALL diets have one thing in common - whether low carb

Limiting tumor seeding as a therapeutic approach for metastatic disease
As with
insulin
resistance
, which has been a major target for me for many years, preventing metastasis after metastasis has already occurred has also been an important concern.

Insulin resistance (IR)
HOMA-IR: Homeostatic Model Assessment of
Insulin
Resistance
. It marks both the presence and extent of
insulin
resistance
that you might currently express. It is a terrific way to reveal the dynamic between your baseline (fasting) blood sugar and the response hormone insulin.

Exercise and peak HR
If a cardiologist has said there is nothing wrong with my heart, bar hypertension and some plaque in arteries is it ok to jog and have a HR of 162? I love jogging but HR goes high when I do it. I can row and cycle and HR goes to 130 max but I don't get the buzz. Cardiologist suggested there may be autonomic

METHOTREXATE Injection or Pill form
Been on Methotrexate 15 mgs for a good while now 5 months. Always had nauseasness problems even taking Folic Acid the day after. Its been suggested I change to self injecting the liquid variety of the drug. Anyone else gone down this path please and with what results. Not bothered about actually injecting
