Following on from my earlier DVLA post.

Help with husband who has diabetes but is in denial
my husband has diabetes, untreated, except for the piddly diet changes he’s made that he thinks will reverse the condition. Many years ago his numbers were high, they are higher now, 6.8 with a 148 glucose level, and I managed to get him to follow a strict diet and exercise plan which resulted in a reduction

Hypothetical question- would a GP/endocrinologist have to keep prescribing for you if you refused blood tests
This is a hypothetical question. If you were doing your own private blood tests and happy with the results, but the usual thing of slightly reduced TSH , which you know freaks out the GP (‘your TSH is too low, reduce the dose’) and potentially the endocrinologist (‘we like to aim for normal range’) it

b12 vials multiuse
my doctor prescribed my b12 as multiuse vials and I’m having trouble not bending the needle as I stick it in. I use insulin needles since I injection subcutaneously (it is the most comfortable way of receiving it). I am a little concerned about reusing the same vial multiple times with multiple needles

Update #6 Clear Decks
Hi all 👋 Continuing on from my previous post here - https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/149372691/update-5-back-to-front I am officially bareback… 😬 but don’t worry, it’s not for long. Phase 1 of the plan now begins! It’s taken me about 5/6 weeks, but I have weaned down slowly from 2.5 grains

Reduced prednisone again now at 5 in am, 5 in evening, feeling ok
On 3rd day at 5 and 5, right wrist got sore and swollen. Everything else ok but did feel a little wiped out. Today feeling great, wrist swelling going down. Will stay here at 10mg total for a while before another reduction. Still absolutely zero typical PMR pain. Frankly do not know what to make of

Maybe I should take B1 and inositol for

Today I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I have been trying to conceive for just under a year with no luck.Prior to this I was on the pill for 15 years from the age of 15 to 30. My biggest regret so far to date! I had a huge outbreak of server cystic acne on my face at 25 and didn't realise but I do now
