Hi everyone! My tinnitus started 4 years ago, after a big cold. At the beginning was like palpitations, meaning luck of blood supply and then a constant hissing noise.
I did quite a lot of research and consecrated on diet.
Basically, they say that is an insulin resistance problem,so we need to cut carbs, others are high oxalate intake, meaning no spinach, etc.
It's quite depressing to go in a very low carb diet and be on a keto diet.
My doctor told me is a hearing loss, which I do suffer for mighty and it's getting worse from one ear.
I noticed that when I take magnesium, tinnitus reduces dramatically.
I wonder if anyone else has tried a specific diet or an herb that finds it,it may help?

You will know already from your searches that there are some supposed “cures” for tinnitus on the internet which are, of course, just a way to get hold of your money.
I’ve seen posters on this site say Mag has benefitted them. If you put “magnesium” into the search box top and tick “my communities” on the right you will find what they have said. Personally it’s done nothing for me, but what we do know about tinnitus is that what suits me won’t suit other people and vice versa.
Having hearing aids usually means that you hear the real world clearly so the phantom world of T fades a bit.
I’ve never heard that a keto diet or very low carb or no spinach is in any way beneficial.
The website of Tinnitus UK has some helpful pointers, though not diet-based.
