hi

Has any one ever experienced a brown rash under armpit , my dr says it’s acanthosis nigricans , iv had a full blood test , not due to Insulin resistance. Wondered if anyone else has this with UAT.

Thanks

I very often point anyone who posts about skin issues at DermNet NZ. And, for you, this is a link directly to the topic:

Acanthosis nigricans

dermnetnz.org/topics/acanth...

It appears that this is one possibility:

Autoimmune acanthosis nigricans:

Associated with conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren syndrome, scleroderma, and Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
