Thyroid-S quality!

I intend to switch to NDT again. In the past, I was on Armour and Erfa, but they were beyond my budget, so I gave up. I don't feel great on synthetics (Tirosint & Thybon). I've gained a lot of weight, and I developed insulin resistance. The higher the dose of synthetic I take, the more my belly grows.

So, I would try Thyroid-s(Thai-ndt), In the past, it was similar to Armour. I don't know what the quality of the product is now, maybe you can help me. Is it worth ordering? [redacted by admin] I don't know anything about the last batch.

Hi sorry to see you haven’t had a reply yet. Hopefully my reply will bump yours back up the message board.

We do quite often get comments on the variability of Thyroid S and some batches seem to have common traits with members sharing batch numbers when they aren’t sure if it’s working correctly.

Please take care as there are scammers out there preying on people in need of medications.

I did a quick search and there are > 72,000 posts mentioning Thyroid S, if you click ‘my hub’ thyroid UK and then type into that search bar it searches just the thyroid Uk forum, you may find what you need there or be able to private message knowledgeable members.

I've been taking Thyroid S since 2018 and there were some issues with some batches especially those prefixed ' 22 ' -

Currently I think batches being despatched are pre - fixed ' 24 ' - so well past these first batches that were released after Thyroid S was said to have been reformulated -

I threw away at least 2 bottles of ' 22 ' and now feel ok again - but I've never felt as good as when I first started on this brand of NDT - who knows - I do maintain my core strength vitamins and minerals at optimal levels - so maybe it's just me and I'm not aware how to turn back that clock !!

Sadly, that is what I have heard as well…that TS is not working the way it used to. But the same has been said of Armour, Nature-Throid, NP, WP, Erfa…basically every brand of NDT. I have been visiting US forums for years where patients complain about NDT not working as well any more, so it seems to be a universal problem…

Has the manufacturer ever confirmed Thyroid-S was reformulated?

Not to my knowledge - I think all brands have had problems at some time or another - as the source is from a nature and remember reading of one large epidemic of swine flu in, I think China, that would likely have caused base supply quality issues.

Anyway - we just need to keep on top of things as best we can :

I received a message from a scammer here a couple of days ago. Reported it to admin. They claim to sell NDT at a fraction of the price. Don’t believe it! Thyroid-S is pretty expensive these days, so don’t trust anyone who claims to sell it for much less. If it sounds too good to be true, it is…☹️.
