I have been on T4 since 1995 and had T3 added in about ten years ago. I keep getting very high sugar and high blood pressure. (I eat sensibly and walk most days). I have read T3 can contribute to insulin resistance, wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue?

Hi Jewiemax15
You don't mention in your bio that you've been diagnosed with AIG/PA.
But if you have AND you have Autoimmune Hypothyroid (Hashimoto's Thyroiditis) then this is condition is called Polyglandular Autoimmune Syndrome (PAS) 3b.
I have this and yes, elevated blood pressure and type 2 diabetes, I have because of this. My endocrinologist is also keeping a close lookout for Type 1 diabetes as this is also associated with PAS.
