Been ill for so long that I don't now know if I am well
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 18 years ago and type1 diabetes 44years ago. I am now 48. For the past 4 years I have been struggling with overwhelming fatigue and other ill affects of undertreated hypothyroidism. About 4 and half years ago I was admitted to hospital with accelerated heart rate

Anyone else having problems getting Salbutamol and Flixotide prescriptions. Never had any problems in 27 years at this surgery, new doctors now and I can only request within 7 days of items running out - how can you tell how much is left in salbutamol? They are questioning dosages I take of all meds

Natural Insulin calculation process
Apologies if I'm a bit too ignorant. A bit curious on how the body calculates the right amount of insulin needed. Do understand that T2 is a bit complicated with varied factors contributing, but calculating the amount of insulin needed for the digestive process seems still a Mystery. Is it the gut bacteria

My Doctor Says…
“It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with experiment, it's wrong.” -Richard Feynman An ongoing theme in the LCHF community is that the medical establishment seems hell-bent on ignoring scientific evidence, to the detriment of millions

Is Trulicity ok to take?
I am insulin resistant and overweight. I weigh 186 at 5’3 “. It costs $300/mo. Is there anything else I can take to help? I can’t seem to loose this weight. Been exercising 30 minutes 3 to 4 times weekly and keeping record of what I eat on my fitness pal. I still eat a little sweets every day but

What Is Insulin Resistance?Insulin resistance and Parkinson's disease
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxl8hhyN6AQ Insulin resistance (IR) is a pathological condition in which cells fail to respond normally to the hormone insulin. Type 1 Diabetics
Just wondering if there are any other Type 1 Diabetics out there? How do you manage your insulin when running and what beneficial effects, relating to diabetes, have you experienced because of running.
