Is Anyone Self Injecting Methylcobalamin?
Thank you all so much for replying with really helpful stuff. It stung a bit today too so I will try my stomach next I think and then move on to thigh. For some reason I always think it will be more painful in my thigh but may be not from what quite a few of you say. Will watch a few more videos too

Glucose tolerance test
I also had an OGTT, 2 months after discontinuing every medication. I quit exercise for 2 days, and had normal food as always. For the test, I dissolved 75 gm dextrose monohydrate in water and drank it. The blood glucose readings were: Fasted 91 30 min 225!

Sugar and Sarvation
In 1793 a ship carrying a cargo of sugar and rum foundered. Nine days later the surviving sailors were found close to death. Why would that be? Considering they had access to all the energy they could possibly need in the days following the disaster, and after all, alcohol has only marginally less calories

Started NDT and increasing blood sugars
Hi all, I am a 36 year old woman. I have had type 1 diabetes (well-controlled) since I was 10 and Hashimoto's since I was 15. I have always taken t4-only drugs (first synthroid, then Eutirox, 88mcg) this past week when I switched to NDT (Thiroyd from Thailand). I am adjusting - as I don't feel that great

Introduction
I am still a recent (18 months) bilateral below-the-knee amputee and kidney transplant recipient. All caused by being a Type 1 Diabetic on insulin for over 50 years. I am now over-weight with at a weight of 118 kgs and a BMI of 39. I need to lose weight. Diet is not too much of an issue, just being careful

Creatine Kinase test?? Anything to do with my thyroid test?
My Dr. recently tested my Creatine Kinase level, it came out to be 231. He told me he was trying to find out if I was having trouble with my thyroid. My THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE (TSH) results were a 2.14 ( I guess 4.00 is high) so I am assuming I am in range of okay. But everything I read says

Mornings are hell!
Hi everyone I'm new here and wanted to say what a great site this is and also ask for some advice. My symptoms were extreme tiredness, brain fog, weak leg muscles, so weak I could not walk up the stairs easily, always cold and I was steadily gaining weight. To cut a very long story short with my GP

Have Type 2 diabetes? Don't lose hope
Despite popular belief, getting a diabetes diagnosis does not necessarily mean a lifetime of medication. Recent research showed that going on a very low-calorie diet could reverse the condition for some. Researchers from Newcastle University in Britain put 30 people with Type 2 diabetes on a 700- calorie
