Diabetes 2 or just insulin resistance...?
My GP has diagnosed me with diabetes 2 based on my latest lab results. I've been struggling with insulin resistance for a few years but previously managed to keep it under control (and lose weight) using berberine. In the past nine months, I've put on a lot of weight and have had incredible cravings

Need some help.
I was wondering if anyone knows if Lisinopril can lower EGFR? I have a weird blood pressure problem in that my blood pressure goes very high only when I am standing up and walking around. Without meds it can go as high as 170/120 and is normally 140/110. But when I am seated, it can be absolutely normal

Obese T2 DM Vs Thin T2 DM
Are you Obese T2 or Thin and skinny T2?? I have been studying the Etiology & mechanism of Obese T2 Vs Thin/Skinny T2 since quite some time. I have accessed a lot of research papers/ studies on the subject. I find there is a lot of difference between the two and therefore the strategies to be followed

Low carb diets...???
I really need to find out more about this. A couple of days ago, I got my lab results back and they are clearly indicative of insulin resistance: fasting glucose 110 mg/dL (ref 70-105) and fasting insulin 18 uU/mL (ref 2.6-24.9; should be <5 according to several low carb forums I've visited). Anyway,

Liver labs: cause for concern...?
As I wrote in previous posts, I got my lab results back and some of them worry me slightly. One I forgot to mention was my liver labs. My doctor only asked for G.G.T and it came back slightly elevated: 39 UI/L (ref 9-36). It was 31 in April of this year. Granted, I've been drinking more alcohol this

Labs back, would appreciate feedback!
So, I have had some labs back. I have been on Berberine 1500 mg daily (500x3) since 2015. Back then, it helped me lose 28 kilograms and have a normal BMI for the first time in years. I have since put it all back (the weight gain started after I was put on high doses of prednisolone last year - I took

Thyroid and other labs
I have been feeling hyperthyroid lately so have been decreasing Thyroid-S over several months, from 5 to 3 grains, without much symptom relief I might add. My latest labs from Sept 09 read as follows: TSH <0.01 mUI/L (0.35-4.5) free T4 ng/dL 0.7 (0.7-1.5) free T3 pg/mL 2.7 (1.6-3.2) I usually take Thyroid-S

Dr Mindy has authorised me to share her "Fasting benefits Chart" (see photo) which tells us how much we get of which benefits of fasting we get at which stage of fasts up to five days. Fasting is about so much more than losing weight - and the chart shows you at what stages of the fast you get what level

Fenbendazole
The original research on mice done by Merck indicated that the fenbendazole had to be combined with vitamin E. I don't know why people are so skeptical about fenbendazole. We all know about The Accidental discovery of penicillin by Fleming coming back to a petri dish that was accidentally infected with
