I'd just like to have a little information on this test as I had blood taken about three weeks ago for c peptide and moda??? I've not had results yet.
I have been having sudden drops in my type 1 insulin regime. It's like bolus is not working for me until the drop about 2 hours later. My basal also now has to be twice a day. And I'm hardly eating many carbs.
I would really appreciate someone's experience with this. I'm in the uk.

Sounwell1 - C-Peptide, GAD antibodies and other test for MODY can take a frustratingly long time to come back. Not all UK labs do all of those tests locally, so some have to go to centres of excellence, like Exeter, so you can imagine those places get a bit busy!
As your questions seem to be more related to issues surrounding your insulin responses with your T1, you might find you could get specialised responses from a diabetes forum.
I used diabetes.co.uk/forum . It is the largest health related forum in the world, so there are always members online, and there's usually somoen who will have experienced similar things to yourself.
You can read that forum, without joining or logging in, but you do need to sign up to contribute.
Please don't think I'm putting a downer on this community. I am absolutely not. I have learned a massive, massive amount on here, which has helped me begin to unravel some of my own metabolic challenges, but, personally, in your shows, I'd probably prefer a range of feedback.
Maybe, I'll see you over there, although you wouldn't recognise my user name there.
Good luck with it all. Type 1 can be a bit like training cats, whilst juggling jelly and reciting War and Peace from memory.
