The original research on mice done by Merck indicated that the fenbendazole had to be combined with vitamin E. I don't know why people are so skeptical about fenbendazole. We all know about The Accidental discovery of penicillin by Fleming coming back to a petri dish that was accidentally infected with Penicillin mold. Are the realization that milkmaids who had cowpox we're not catching the smallpox and all the other amazing accidental discoveries that have led to many life-saving advances in medicine. Those of you reluctant to take the medicine without clinical trials you need to look up how penicillin was first try the or how insulin was first used. Unless the government gets involved in this and sets up a clinical trial no large drug company is going to spend millions of dollars on a clinical trial for a drug that's readily available over-the-counter because they won't be able to make money off of it. I want to be very clear I'm not opposed to clinical trials I would like to see one for this medication but people are dying and Joe tippens website shows almost 60 people now with various types of cancers whose lives have been saved. They did not do clinical trials on penicillin because people were dying they just started using it and it was obvious it was saving lives.

There are a host of over the counter drugs that I Call Chameleon drugs. They're like fenbendazole and vitamin E. Some organization like the Centers for Disease Control and United States needs to allow people to register so that we can find out what dosages are working what dosage is maybe too much and a host of other questions that should be answered so that we can advance our scientific understanding this phenomena. The mere fact that this combination of drugs was found by accident does not invalidate it and in fact puts it in a category of hundreds of other scientific discoveries that were all made by accident or mistake.

I don't know if fendendazole does anything, but I would want to be sure about drug interactions first. For every "penicillin" there were thousands of substances that were tried and failed in clinical trials or were too toxic to use. High dose Vitamin E (at least the kind one buys off the shelf) is a cause of prostate cancer - that much we know for sure.

The Norwegian Health Ministry is working up a Phase III clinical trial using an anthlemintic like FenBen. They haven't said which drug will be used but this kind of work is going to occur outside the USA by countries with national health care systems that can't afford the expensive stuff like Zytiga, Provenge, etc. Just like Britain and the PATCH trial, they have to find something that works and won't bust their already overspent budget.
